  1. a fake priest/pastor probably told him that his parents are witches, unless he donates so and so much money to the church the pastor can not ‘pray the devil back to hell’ and he’ll be haunted, so he decided to sort them out!! BEWARE OF THE MIRACLE CHURCHES!!!

  2. There is no law in favour or against witchcraft. Let him go scot-free we are tired of witchcraft stories. Just last week we heard how school teachers abandoned teaching in fear of being be witched. What development does witches bring to Zambian society to deserve protection once caught in the act???
    ..
Months ago we read how one man be witch three memembers of one family. Openly telling mourners not to wip cos he was responsible for their deaths and the spirit that was troubling him was tired on a tree near the grave… I would be supplying ammunitions to hunt out all witches.. A hinderance to development caused by under privilaged people.

  3. Comment 6, the law on witchcraft has existeted since 1959. The colonial Govt introduced the 1959 Witchcraft Act and other pieces of legislation which facilitated the banning of traditional ceremonies, rituals, rites and any other practices which they conceived to be contrary to European standard of Cultural value.

A new law on witchcraft is coming which seeks to recognise the existence of witchcraft as well as protect individuals from wrongly being accused of practicing witchcraft. At the same time, the law will seek to punish those rightly found to be practicing witchcraft. Furher, the law seeks to recognise and legalise the use of African medicine.

Below is a copy contradicating your statement. .. If you are Real a Dr you can understand that NO laws are targeting certain individuals or group.. You might have too much respect for Mzungu and abandon your own traditions and culture to please the European where here they keep their own culture such as visiting the grave yard to lay flower and candles on christmas day. Shame on you. thats NOT a law for Zambia.n .. imposed by outsiders.. Traditional ceremonies haven’t died out

Mr. Phiri said what was surprising was that the police was allegedly reluctant to deal with the report, saying, they could not handle the case arguing that there was no law of witchcraft in the country’s constitution
