  1. Very sad indeed. May God console the bereaved families.

One of my fellow PHD students is currently doing some research on ways to improve road safety in our country.

  2. This needless loss of lives must stop. Improve the state of roads and road worthy vehicles. safety education/retraining, severe penalties for those in the wrong coupled with increased police patrols etc

Why dont we value life in Zambia? Just look at how govt responds to the cries of the majority of the people… Shame!!!!

  3. very sad reading.
that “S“ corner black spot should have been redone to make the road straight. why was the idea abandoned? RTA ?

  4. My cousin died in this accident, he was in the Toyota Corolla. The truck actually swayed to the other lane and ploughed into the two vehicles. What a waste of precious lives, my cousin was a brilliant young man full of life. I am so angry, the driver of the truck should be jailed for killing innocent people. Some of these twits just become bullies on the road because they’re driving a bigger vehicle and bulldose their way on the roads.

  5. VJ Rigger #6, the editor has panicked even more by misspelling the word even worse! – keep up the pressure… Anyhow, most roads in Zed are pathetic but compounded to that is the fact that shortcuts in obtaining driving licences and getting jobs (of most descriptions) also abounds. Until this systemic dysfunction is addressed we will continue to experience very interesting

  7. people died in this accident and the 1st thing ppl notice is grammatical errors? No wonder our country is not developing, we waste time nitpicking minor issues and not the heavier matter, God bless the victims and their families

  8. The corolla and pajero victims died IN the corolla and IN the pajero not ON. Anyway sorry for the families.
