The prodigal sons delivered on Wednesdays in Swaziland as Dario Bonetti’s team recorded its biggest win since defeating Comoros Island last year.
It may have been a friendly game but Wednesday was a significant win for Bonetti whose side beat Swaziland 4-0.
The win also matched Zambia’s biggest away win to date since crushing Liberia 5-0 away in 2005 in a 2006 World Cup/Africa Cup qualifier in Monrovia.
The lost boys did not let Bonetti down with Mbesuma and Clifford Mulenga both getting on the score sheet on Wednesday evening in Manzini.
Isaac Chansa and James Chamanga also added a goal each to Zambia’s cause.
strange that mbesuma still knows how to score. thats the way to go boyz
They must next competitive convincingly too
Congratulations guys, let us be positive even when we play small teams, this is morale booster, but then again this was expected, I wish Kenya all the best in their match against the rich South Africans.
Bonetti we expect nothing less than a win in maputo next month.
Really? LOL
Ah, football has gone to the dogs zoona, to an extent that we even wonder what may happen playing againgst Mozambique nooooooooooooo!!!!
Nothing to celebrate coz they were playing a weaker team. Ba Mbesuma is still a finished chap and will never go anywere.
Imwe naimwe ba Dr. B, ma jealous down. Show us what you can do. Atase
@ no 1 Samora that’s a beautiful white lady you have, usually brothers take home to their mothers a madumbo Maliketi muzungu sisi. I on the other hand love mine of the African texture from Ethiopia to the beauty golden of Ghana; add Latina there aswell. I talk less about Zambian football now.
Mwanawakwitu wemukwasu…….Simplify your comment so that we can get what you are trying say.
viva zambia viva kalu
#9 you are right about the madumboz but again that girl you are seeig in the photo she a reject among the Russians thats why she has gone black coz we blacks we just get anything as long as …………
There is nothing to rejoice about, Swaziland is a finished thing. wait and meet big teams you see how we will tremble. Pa Zed soccer is finished unless we invest seriously otherwise we will always be down and lamenting.
I heard it was Christopher Katongo and not Isaac Chansa who scored
No 1 and No 7,and ALL against Collins…take time and watch the guy play for his South African club,if you still say he is finished then WE see differently,he is not finished!
But it is common knowledge that the Swazis were not ready for us. am sure Kenya would have wired us!
collins chipuba chesu and there is nothings we can do we just need him in the team. Have always said that what happens outside the pitch should not be taken in the pitch. Its on record that good players, tellers, machnicars misbehav but lets just get what is in them. The problem pa Z we are to jugemental we sud nt liv in the past thats y there are newday, newyear. Collins is good player we just need to help him. Thats y those who dont even no and havent even played school football thinks they can run FAZ. Talk less if u want to be a goodleader. Well done Boys we are proud of u
Just wait for the south african league to close.Collins will come to Luanshya, paint the whole town brown(chibuku), go back to SA 8 weeks late, get fired, dropped from kapololo, back to luanshya, and the cycle begins again.
Am only glad my boy Clifford Mulenga has come back this boy will make a name more than kalusha Bwalya did and Galu knows about it thats why they hv been sidelining the boy but his time has come..Cris Mule show them…on the other hand such weaker teams are misleading to say zambia is doing fine until we play Nigeria, zimbabwe, Ghana swaziland there is no footbal..
Ntofontonfo! I hope he’ll continue witht the strick
Our biggest propblem is Kalu. He simply doesnt want any body to make a name bigger than his in Zambia. Our boys are good they just need good management.
The Zambia national team should be ashamed. They fail to deliver against serious teams.
Congratulations guyz for that wonderful win.My appeal to FAZ is that we wait South Africa or any west african country in the next friendly match.
Can´t see any importance with this game if it can´t even be in the other medias just as the South African vs Kenya game.
get some big football house and have friendlies and not this walk overs and then some praises arise when you can even easily be beaten by Angola. Jokers
Shit!!!!!
What are you celebratin?
Swaziland??????????
Ba Ghana bakaminyelawila bafik***
I have an eye on this Collins Mbesuma….his downward spiral was indeed disappointing but if he is regaining his form we will only be too glad to watch him. The good thing about football is that it is about performance and nothing else.
We can learn something from Mbesuma guys…the guy ws written off and the world came crashing on him but he has worked his way out…..congrats mbesuma ntofotoloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
THERE IS NOTHING LIKE SMALL TEAMS NOWADAYS BECAUSE ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IN FOOTBALL NOW. JUST SUPPORT THE TEAM THROUGH OUT.
LETS MANAGE FOOTBALL FROM THE TOP TO BOTTOM THEN YOU WILL SEE THE RESULTS COMING.
Guys watch Mbesuma playing, he has lost a lot of wait lately and appears determined. Lets support our own and motivate him. We tend to criticise all the time no wonder we now feel Kamanga team will deliver with Simataa! Shame
#9 and #11 i bet you’d still eat the ka same meat. too much judgemental bane.
No. 18 Dr something, i wonder whether you really watch football. Surely you can compare a south african Clifford Mulenga who does nt even play 90min for his club to the once GREAT KALU?
Kwena walimupata Kalu. Dont demean the 1988 African Footballer of the year.
Good result. very very good result. Build upon it so that you convince us the doubters of Tupolopolo overated stars.
Well done boiz. Waz scared we would start looking for playerz like we did in London against Ghana. Swaziland must have raized their hopes high aginst the allegedly depleted Zambia coupled withe drama at Football House, but got rude shock.
Mbesuma is just indisciplined, but the chap is endowed with talent. Watch him play. Atleast he has the decency of not urinating in public like Rooney who has of late managed to ‘finish the whole 90 minutes without visiting a brothel’. My point is, we have players with fame who have worse social problems than collins, but they have have been assisted. fergusson went to the the extent of sending Rooney to a US rehab, but here we are busy critising poor collins. Let bonneti & SA coaches deal with him, if he can deliver. Steven Gerald had the same problem, but after rehab, we all see results. talented Adriano could even be worse. Support the chap if he can deliver & only hope that he doesn’t visit Luanshya.
Fellow zambians ,it is just important to encourange our players, sport just like life in general,it is a graph, mbesuma can come back especially if he has reflected on his past.Even if you support Man U or any other English club ,you remain a zambian.
For the chipolopolo,Go boys Go. Some of us Loose or win Chipolopolo is our team.and Congrates to our boys.
# 2 Kashimani, what are you saying? Very illogical construction of words
Zambia national team is a good team, all we need to do is to chase Kalusha Bwalya and colleagues as soon as possible. Also Dario Bonneti should go, he is doing nothing. As for Mbesuma, i think the guy has already learn’t from past experience.
Swaziland or not a win is a win and we must cherish it.The last time i checked we got our back sides kicked by little known Kuwait,so lets cherish the win people. It could be the beginning of better things to come i hope and keep my figures crossed.
Too many Kalusha haters up in here, geese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, congrats Ba Chipolopolo!
Next time you play Kenya, make sure you extract some sweet revenge—-a 4-0 bashing would be wonderful. Also South Africa should be in the “cross-hairs”, they seem to have forgotten what CHIPOLOPOLO really means!! Make sure you teach them a lesson for acting so arrogantly just because the Rand is doing better than our Kwacha. You should show them that MONEY AIN’T EVERYTHING in soccer, TALENT & SKILL, yes! And Zambia has been in this business (Soccer) long enough to be able to rise to the occasion WITH or WITHOUT millions of “Rands” to wave in front of other ‘poor’ teams!
GOOD LUCK GUYS!!!!!!
Okey, Viva Kalu. How does that feel haters ?
Kalushaters Just shut up! We shall overcome with our Great Kalu!!
LT cant even spell deliver yaba!
