The Football Association of ZAMBIA has welcomed the offer by the Andrew Kamanga faction to dialogue over the wrangles that have rocked football administration in the country.
FAZ Vice President Boniface Mwamelo says dialogue between the two factions is necessary to move ahead and solve all contentious issues besetting the local game.
Mwamelo however says FAZ is of the view that discussions with the Kamanga faction must be inclusive with the participation of clubs.
Meanwhile Mwamelo says FAZ will meet MTN Super league team officials to discuss the resumption of the league.
He told ZNBC sports that it is important that the league resumes as clubs have received funds from sponsors and need to pay players who have not played competitive football since last October.

The Andrew Kamanga camp on Monday offered to meet the Kalusha Bwalya Led executive to iron out all outstanding issues surrounding the resumption of the 2011 supper league.
FAZ interim General Secretary Simataa Simataa said the meeting was necessary in the interest of soccer in the country.
Simataa confirmed the offer in a statement released to ZNBC Sports in Lusaka.
Earlier, Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- Vice-President Boniface Mwamelo had told ZNBC Sports News that the Super and division one leagues would kick off this Saturday.
He said FAZ delegates that met at Mulungushi International Conference Centre last Saturday resolved that the league should resume after the Annual General Meeting-AGM.
FAZ also set April 30, 2011 as the new date for the AGM, which will be held in Kabwe.
Clubs have already started preparations for the new soccer season but the infighting in FAZ has delayed the resumption of the league which was scheduled to begin last weekend.
That’s the way to go Mwamelo, eyez on the ball. For the sake of the good game, agree to disagree for once.

the kamanga faction can never be trusted. They will quickly announce a false agreement in the media after this meeting. No matter what problems are rocking Football, the fraternity needs to handle them peacefully and maturely. Bringing more divisions does not help, the coming AGM is the way to go, why did the Kamanga Faction and NSCZ decide to sabotage the recently failed AGM??
i remember saving mr G Mpombo when he drown in a swimming pool at sun hotel upon seeing a monkey approaching him as then been the defence minister. he is a hopeless and finished politician who only speaks bombastic words to a pre school girl aged two years.

The current problems in FAZ should be considered as a prelude to what is going to happen to Zambia during this year’s General election. It is clear that Simataa Squared cannot perform better than Kalusha Bwalya.I is also true that Kalusha has more supporters than Simataa.It is true that Kalusha can broker a serious deal for our local players to play in lucrative leagues. But who care about that.Oh, you do? Act like it.

I would like the Kalu worshipers to tell us what his vision for Football in Zambia is. If he was educated and experienced enough he could have produced a paper outlining his vision which in turn would help everybody else know where he is taking us. Transparency is very important when running an organisation like FAZ. I believe the main reason the other people left was that they found it very difficult to work with him simply because everything was done under the table. I do not think he is going to change and if he does then kudos to him.
