Share

Not the man in story

A 27 year old Kabompo District Hospital general worker has been suspended pending investigations for allegedly being found committing adultery in an office at the health institution outpatient department.

Kabompo District Medical Officer Dr. Stephen Shajanika confirmed the suspension to ZANIS in interview in Kabompo .

Dr. Shajanika said the incident attracted a huge crowd and police presence causing commotion at the health institution.

He said on the material day, the named general worker is believed to have collapsed and admitted to the hospital’s male ward after he was caught but was later discharged.

Dr. Shajanika disclosed that laboratory test results conducted on the 17 year old woman believed to be a married woman showed many moving spermatozoa in the specimen which was collected from the woman private parts.

Meanwhile, a closed police source in the area also confirmed the incident but said the police were still carrying out further investigations to establish the state of the named general worker.

  1. The man in the picture can sue LT for defamation of character. Attracted a huge crowd to see what, the man in the act or just a glimpse of the culprit? 17 year old married woman, ni maloza, God forbidoo.

  2. This chap need discipline. No need of trying to investgated when the guy was found red handed. Take him to prison.

    • Take him to prison on what charge? the man didnt rape anyone, the girl was above the age of 16, so this man didnt violate section 138 cap 87 of the penal which is the only law about defilement in our constitution. Dont even try to mention indecent exposure, coz the man was in an office. This just becomes a human resource issue i wonder what the police are investigating. Pa zed aweh we become busy over nothing!

  3. Well! They direct or circumstantial evidence in court so the need to investigate. Think before you blurt out words.

  4. Uh…. I think the real problem here is RAPE, not adultery! Or do they mean to say if this girl weren’t “believed” to be a married woman it would have been alright to have forcible sex with her in hospital?

    • Wowowowo hold on champ, it is not mentioned anywhere that the girl was forced. It was mutual consent between two adults.

  5. They have already find very active sperms swiming inside they woman no need to ckeck on his state of mind the chap had fun cage him!

  6. What is the main issue here? 1. That the man had sex in the office? 2. That the man had sex with a married woman? 3. That the man had sex with a minor? 4. That the man had forced sex? Imwe ba LT, learn how to write with clarity and purpose. And why put a picture of a lazy man sleeping a lawn? If you can’t provide us with images of the couple doing it or being parade n aked, then don’t give us any image

  7. What else can workers do at hospitals when the hospitals, when the MMD has directed the doctors to go on Chinese Mobile hospitals? Kulachita fye, chikala afenta-nokufenta.

  8. Whats the real issue? adultery is no criminal offence & the girl aint no minor either. The person to be invistigated is the husband to the girl to establish when he married his wife, there could be a case of difilement there.

    • \:d/ #10 i agree with u surely adultery is not an offence so wat i think an offence is the husband who married oviuosly wen the girl was less that sixteen arrest the husband mwe bantu plse lesa tapela mumaboko apalamikilafye impulumushi wamoneka umulume.

  9. Hospital work? The issue here is Morals, Nangu Ninyelee, bonging it in Offices? Shows how people have nothing to do in these hospitals, yet people are dying out of hospital staff negligence. End of it all they expect to be paid and having sex. Foolish. He needs to be punished and let people take work seriously.

Such behaviors and stealing of medicines in these hospitals?? We can’t move forward as a country.

  10. I think this is just a case of misconduct. These are two consenting grown ups having sex at a wrong place. why should police even force the woman to have spematozoa tests on her private parts when there is no complaint for rape or adultery against her? There is a difference between adultery and sexual intercourse, while adultery can mean sexual intercourse, sexual intercourse doesnt mean adultery and a positive spematozoa test on the womans private part is only an indication of sexual intercourse not adultery. In any case this evidence will not be admissible in court because it was not sunctioned by any court and therefore illigally obtained( a violation of human rights). There is currently no complaint of adultery against that woman in any court of law to warrant those investigations.

  11. #8 – You have hit the nail on the head. That is exactly what I was asking myself??? I failled to understand the charge. The information is not complete.

  12. Fellow Zambians whats wrong with us? Firstly why should they take a sample from her private parts? Was it rape? Why should he be arrested? Am not sure if adultery is a criminal offence or civil. Who made the complaint if he was cuaght in action. He must be a 6-12hour straight man to fit in the sighting, complaint at the police and police arrest during which he was still in action. Damn. I need his med. Am also sure that these wre two consenting adults where he can or should be sued if the woman’s husband repoted the complaint. Someone please advise if these comments are justified?

    • Do you understand the concept of public nuisance! its not about adultery here but where it was done my friend

  13. This story might be newsworthy but there is no issue here, except for the employer who has already taken action – and the woman’s husband who might want to take action. If it was rape which has not been mentioned by anyone, then the police might also be interested. The woman is 17 so the question of defilement doesn’t arise. What state are the police investigating? His state of mind or body, isn’t that the job of a psychiatrist or doctor – but only after the judge has ordered that it be carried out. I’m just dumb-founded that the police have so much to waste.

  14. #10 spot on indeed. !7 yrs, already married, and seeing other men! Leave that innocent man pleasssse! Deal with the ntalamisoka gal!

  15. LT, Be professional! Why are you attaching this photo to this story? Where is this man on the lawn, there is money for him at LT.

  16. Ali fenta nokufenta umu guys!!!! Aahhhhh Zed nayo, just sumthing else mwe. Drama in real life situation, comedy iyi ikali bakamba. Nonetheless, this is just an epitome of how moals in zed have sunk to the lowest. Its only a fact that if cameras were stategically planted in most of these offices even for one day, it would be catastrophie!!!!! Divorce would be katwishi pa zed…

  17. Ala bane let us not pretend to be holier than thou, even the Doc or police knows it all,let him/her who has never committed sin be the first to throw stones on them period!

  18. Is having sex in the office an offence? If it is, i am sure it should not attract police at all. Now a very important issue was raised here by some blogger. The police should find out when thiis girl got married in order to clear the husband of possible statutory rape.

  19. Police can clearly not get involved in this matter it’s all based on misconduct and possiblely shagging some one’s wife – local court will deal with him. Happy shagging my man!

  20. Police can clearly not get involved in this matter it’s all based on misconduct and possibly
shagging some one’s wife – local court will deal with him. Happy shagging my man! He must have been disturbed when he was releasing the sperm that why he collasped nothing seriuos but just enjoy!

  21. Another sensational drama out of Zed. 17 yr old married “woman” doing it with a general health worker who later collapses after being caught red-handed. Not bad.

  22. Dr. Shajanika disclosed that laboratory test results conducted on the 17 year old woman believed to be a married woman showed many moving spermatozoa in the specimen which was collected from the woman private parts.
    This is assault.

  23. I want to imagine just how he convinced the poor girl to have sex with him “Lets f**k and i will give u panadol, quinine, coatermol for your malaria as well as kuka lasa inyeleti”.This is the sort of poverty that MMD boasts of where the poor do anything just to get treatment at our local health centres.Shae on RB and his govt.

  24. People are becoming crazy with the economic achievements the nation is making. Everyone wants to enjoy but this time in wrong way.

  25. Mwe bantu iyeeee! This is very bad and a sad reflection of the moral decay for most of our citizens in Zambia. Even though we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, there is need to have restraint or self control on ones bodly desires. Ku kapombo ba wesu please refrain from such.

The polices’ investigation is not clear in the above article! However, I assume the general worker raped a patient hence the testing as the police issued a medical report to confirm sexual assault. If my assumption is correct, this man is headed for a very lenghty jail term and it will be WELL DESERVED!

  26. He was just having sex NOT RAPE meaning she also wanted, ok at 17 Married in the villages in Zed its very common. why collect sperms from her??? Do they have DNA tests in that part of Zambia????. Sex at work is wrong but its not a criminal offence. Do we have a criminal code of conduct in Zed or its just the Police who determine wether a crime has been commited or not?

  27. Let any man who has not done that throw the first stone on those people…..and one by one they left the couple alone. Opening ones legs inorder to get the so called positive spermatozoa without the court sanctioning it is a violation of ones right and should be condemned by all well meaning citizens…

  28. Why was she taken to the lab ? I thot 17 is old enough by zambian law for her to be janjamukard.Hope the main issue here is the issue of the guy using the hospital for his quicky and not the lady in question.married at 17 ? wow thats something.

  29. This happens everyday in Zambian hospitals, ask any average hospital superitendant.Too bad the guy did it during the day, banzanke we used to wait till it is your ka night call. Then you hammer that ka nurse or ka pseudo-patient…nothing new here.Tinasebana ni kudala pa Zed.

    • iyo ni true.yenze wrong timing.iv learnt a lesson from him.problem bakazi sibakana esp ngabakuona na chi dust coat.ni doctor kansi upipa bo dwala

  30. There is s.e.x. going on in offices everyday in Zambia. The National Assembly hotel has even been dubbed a slaughter house. So I cannot see anything strange about what these two were doing to warrant the woman being humiliated in such a manner. Why didn’t they squeeze the man’s todger too and collect samples to compare with the spermatozoa they saw oozing from the woman’s p.u.s.s.y? People should stop being silly and puke their stinking gender bigotry. I just tremble though to think that in this damn AIDS age anyone could engage in such reckless conduct without using a condom.  I still recall a UNIPIST vice president who once raped his white secretary, in the office, and got away with it.

  31. Numwa fancies Musimbi Mutinta in his office but she has a boyfriend. He approaches her anyway and offers her K 1 million grudas if she’ll have sex with him. “I’ll throw the money on the floor, u bend down & I’ll be finished by the time u pick it up.” Musimbi consults her boyfriend, Hamusankwa. He advises her go 4 it & pick it up real fast, He won’t have a chance! An hour later Hamusankwa calls Mutinta & asks what’s going on…
“I can hardly walk” She replys “The bastard used one ngwee coins.

  32. WHAT??? 17 yr old, ukupela umu guys and he faints. Abanakashi baku Kabompo kanshi balashingulusha, those beads in their waist are for something for real.

  33. Nothing to do in these offices thats why every body is just f@#king around. These things happen alot in these offices. My married boss with four kids recently impregnated a young and beautifull 18 year old receptionist who has been engaged to young man studying at UNZA.Nayishupa sex

  34. Dr Stephen Shajanika, I know this guy. He used to put a lot of spermatozoa in women while he was studying in europe! Congratulations mwana for the post of District Medical Officer. Still here working for BBC (British Bum Cleaning)!

  35. i think government should put some measures to such vices, theres no way you ve left your spouse and start sleeping arround all over, please may God help us.

  36. Poorly written article LT. as already pointed out, do your homework and for goodness sake be articulate.

  37. i think the issue here is that they found them having sex when the man is supposed to be working, and then it turns out that the woman he was with is married.its only that ba LT nabo sibalondola bwino just have to put answers for self.

  38. This cant be a story to publish. Such events occur everyday. The society must be very repressive for a doctor to start conducting laboratory tests on a person caught having sex. This is not a CRIMINAL case. A person has to give his or her consent for such to be done on her. The doctor has now committed a criminal offence. Those details you have published about the doctor disclosing many moving spermatozoa are downright silly. So what if the spermatozoa are moving? I dont know whether your reporter knows what he is reporting about. Its a stupid way to report

  39. Found committing adultery a clear indication that the act was consensual why carrying out investigations fire the chap it ends there or the husband to the birch must go to the local court and the chap for marital interference

  40. its either the husband to the bitch tafola tanyenga elo asangwa pa bondi waitn 4 the ga to provide.how much does a general worker get anyway?sex is confusing.abantu have it na mumpanga.spermatozoaaa?how do u knw alipowa bakolwe.o maybe she was from another shot time from ha pastors office.*****tss
