Zambia's Foreign Affairs Minister Kabinga Pande (l)

Kasempa Member of Parliament Kabinga Pande has urged people in his constituency to reject Patriotic Front leader Michael Sata in this year’s polls and vote for President Rupiah Banda.

Mr Pande who described Mr Sata as a disrespectful and divisive politician told residents of Muselepete compound in Kasempa that the PF leader is a tribalist.

Mr Pande who is also Foreign Affairs minister says if Mr Sata is elected as president Zambia’s peace will not be guaranteed.

He was speaking at a rally in Kasempa.

And senior chief Kasempa commended President Banda for his style of leadership stating that he is a leader who embraces every Zambian.

And in Mkushi South Constituency people have thanked President Rupiah Banda for sending a team of officers to the area to conduct the mobile National Registration Card-NRC exercise.

Residents of Luano Valley have not had nor NRC and Voter Registration exercise since 1996.

Mkushi South MP Sydney Chisanga says the electorates in the area are grateful to President Banda’s administration for his concern about the welfare of the people in Luano Valley.

Mr. Chisanga told ZNBC News that people in the area have been looking forward to being registered as potential voters.

He says people in the area were left out on the first mobile voter registration exercise and had been pleading with authorities to send officers to the area to register them.

  3. MMD are only scared of PF and Mchael Sata and they know how popular the PF leader is.
Wherever they go,Rupiah,Kunda and MMD only talk about Michael Sata because these others are light weight politicians and are not a factor.
VOTE PF AND MICHAEL SATA COME 2011.
THE ONLY MAN OF ACTION WHO CAN BRING CHANGE.
BE PART OF THE BALLOT REVOLUTION.
    PABWATOOOOOOOO MWAMUKOLOOOOOOOOOO COME 2011.

  4. At the moment, there are no credible leaders vying for presidency in Zambia, even our RB is just a mistake for our country who is busy creating family dynast

  5. RB indeed went to state house by mistake, i wonder why he has even insisted to run for elections this year. Anyway i blame those people who thought he had qualities of a president. We need charismatic leaders like Sata and this year is the time for that leader to rule and put Zambia where Levy left it not ba RB.

  6. My advice to politicians as they campaign is, tell people reasons why they should vote for you. Market yourself by categorically outlining how you shall handle issues of employment creation, rural development in terms of road and housing infrastructure for civil servants.

Tell voters the plans that you have for Zambia. The campaign messages that are going on now are not inspiring. Why should politians keep on telling people who they should not vote for. People have ears and eyes, they are intelligent to make their own informed decisions. So just present your manifestos to the electorate.

Please we need issue based campaigns and not personalities.

  7. Well, why should they vote for you!!!!!!  I wish you contested in Mansa. I hope you know what I mean.

  8. politics of hatred.just sell urself out there give pipo reasons why they shud vote 4 u.hav ever gone 2 a shop probably 2 buy boom n found on de front cover written dont buy xtra o bullet bcoz they dont hav a fresh smell n perfume no iwe chi pande dats crap.just displayin ur high level of intellectual paralysis.whether u lyk it o nt we shall stil vote 4 pf.pabwatoo chabe.change is envitable

  9. honorable thank you very much, the serpent will never make president of this country.a party for kaponyas.MMD nafuti nafuti

  10. Nafuti, Nafuti ba MWISHO. PF is only known by Kaponyas who migrated to solwezi from CB. Satan insulted our parents in N/western. Pipo in that region dont forget about history. I salute them for that. Honorable make sure nafuti nafuti. Ba PF bakosama batemwa mwenga.Juba Jansomo make sure you pound the PF.

  11. I did bit of a random survey in Pandes constituency on party popularity and the results revealed that MMD 65%, UPND 34% AND PF 1%. Others said SATA closed kansanshi mine in Solwezi and pineapple cannery in Mwinilunga during his tenure in office with the Chilubas.

  12. @Mwisho…Twamipopwela ba mwisho, when did sata insult the pipo of nortwestern province. It was an allegation made by the late tetamashima and he went to his grave without substantiating it.Sata was supposed to have insulted at a rally yet among the thousands that attended it,no one has yet to come foward.

    I
Ilike your sample survey.I dont know what the mmd performance was like in 2008,but I think it was better than that.which means HH is doing better.Sata 1 %?Not bad.he has improved.he was doing under that sometimes in northwestern rural. But anyway. If he cant get more votes all he has to do is bet on HH causing a loss of votes from RB.Dont forget its a 2% margin between sata and rb last time…33000 votes.

  13. Ba Mpande bubera mwisho,Muselepete people are suffering don’t mislead the nation. You are going this year wether you like it or not.
