Nkana this weekend seek their first league win in Lusaka in 10 months.
The record 11-time league champions are struggling in 11th placed and are in the Capital on Saturday to face a rebounding Zanaco at Sunset Stadium with the home side unbeaten in three successive Super Division matches.
Nkana’s last visit to Lusaka on April 2 in their first league game of the season ended in a 2-1 loss up the road at Nkoloma Stadium against current leaders Red Arrows.
Meanwhile, Nkana can trace their last league win in Lusaka to August last season when they beat City of Lusaka 1-0 in a Week 21 game.
This time around, Nkana have just one win from six matches played on as many points this season that was recorded on the road away to second placed Nakambala Leopards on April 16 where they won 2-1 in Mazabuka.
Coach Linos Makwaza knows defeat will put the pressure Nkana that might see them sink further down towards the relegation zone so early in the new season.
