Father Frank Bwalya says he is not surprised that the award he received from the Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Zambia during the world press freedom day commemoration has raised Government eyebrows.
Father Bwalya says it is clear that government has always considered him as an enemy because of his stance on governance issues.
He says government perceives him as an enemy because of his criticism for the leadership of President Rupiah Banda.
In an interview with QFM, Fr Bwalya states that the manner in which MISA Zambia has acknowledged his fight for freedom of expression has slapped the government in the face.
He says government should never forget that he is a qualified Journalist who managed a radio station for many years.
