Mwinilunga District MMD Chairperson Daniel Manjomba says the party in the area is intact and will scoop both the Mwinilunga East and West parliamentary seats in this year’s general elections.
Mr. Manjomba says the ruling party has positioned itself well in readiness for the polls.
And Mwinilunga West Member of Parliament Elijah Muchima has appealed to voters to elect President Rupiah Banda and the Movement for Multiparty Democracy MMD in general elections this year.
Mr. Muchima who is also Southern Province Minister says the MMD government under the leadership of President Banda has proved that it is the only one which can take the economy of Zambia to prosperity.

Yes the MMD iz very intact the whole country.
if you are from mwinilunga you will understand why muchima wants mmd to continue is one those who have used cdf for personal purpose who fear corruption charges when they leave power. mwinilunga has no public toilets and fueling station yet vechicle move.
Having lost western province mmd wants to get north western as their stronghold. the mighty pf is coming there.our strongholds are copperbelt, lusaka, luapula, northern and western provinces.all urban areas such as kabwe, livingstone, and many others where there are civil servants are ours.
This Minister is panicking we haven’t even been to N/western yet, just be patient we coming there in a few days time we’ll set that province on fire. Already Solwezi is as good as won we have flushed MMD from there. Just like Western Province we dont need 100% there, cutting MMDs dominance by only half will do the trick.
The problem with political rallies is that they are not two-way communication like radio phone-in programmes where one can seek clarifications. As the majority of people attending these rallies are not fools, they go home with lingering doubts about the promises that the politicians delivered at the rally. They go away with unanswered questions like how will a party deliver roads, schools, health centres in 90 days? Why is a politician promising to build roads and schools which are already under construction e.g. Mongu-Kalabo road, Sesheke-Senanga road etc? Since the people know that the same 90 days promises are replicated across the country, they also wonder where the resources will come from to implement large projects in 90 days in the whole country.
Even a villager in Mongu knows how long he takes to build his hut or his canoe, what more a road? So after addressing a rally, the politician goes back to Lusaka thinking that he has cheated people when actually he has planted 100,000 doubts in people and not 100,000 answers. That is how politicians cry foul (literally crying like Mr Sata did in front of BBC journalists at Mulungushi Hall in 2008). Lies do not take you anywhere even if they are propagated by the Post, they are just a recipe for election disaster for some of these politicians. They may have cheated people in 2006 and 2008 with 90 days utopia because people were taken unawares, but people are now much wiser.
How a can you compare drivers using one vehicle? Give drivers a chance to show their driving skills. Correct! So give Sata a chance. RB is a bad driver. 2/10. In primary we used to say 2 pa ten
