Government will re-introduce the failed constitution amendment bill which failed in the last sessions of parliament.
Vice President George Kunda says the bill failed because it was sabotaged by the opposition.
Mr Kunda says Government is determined to bring the bill back to the house because it contains good and new reforms.
The Vice president made the announcement when he addressed a public rally at Silolo Basic School Grounds in Sesheke District over the weekend.
And Mr. Kunda says the Patriotic Front-PF manifesto has no vision for the country.
Mr Kunda says he has scrutinized the PF manifesto through one of the tabloids and discovered that it contains no policies.
Mr. Kunda has urged the people of Sesheke not to waste their votes on the opposition PF and its leader Michael Sata.
Meanwhile Mr. Kunda has castigated the alliance between Mr. Sata and the Post Newspaper Editor Fred M’membe.
Mr Kunda says the relationship between the duo is premised on vindictiveness.
Mr. Kunda says both Mr. Sata and Mr. M’membe are heartless, thereby finding it easy to collaborate.
He says it is clear that Mr. Sata wants to run a Government of witch-hunting, especially on people who have wealth.
Mr. Kunda wonders what has changed about Mr. Sata whom Mr. M’membe described in past Post Newspaper editions as an extremely corrupt person with no leadership qualities.

The constitution was thrown out because it did not represent the wishes of the people. Remember these MPs represent people in parliament. If the people say we want 50+1 and George Kunda says NO. If the people say we want election date to be fixed and then Kunda says NO What do u expect? If the same people are asked in Parliament to pass a constitution seemingly written by one man? Do not be fooled Mr Kunda because some MMD MPs also opposed the failed constitution. There will be more opposition MPs in the next parliament and we do not expect them to pass your garbage. we are voting well this time. My best advice to you is DO THE RIGHT THING and make the constitution for the people by the people but we are not giving cheaters, protector of thieves, corrupt people any more chance.

Well if you want to know the exact dates of future elections and if you want to have a referendum on the 50% + 1, I would suggest that the new constitution should be made law. It certainly is better than the current vindictive one sponsored by Sata and Nawakwi.

whatever you can say about the mmd, surely pf and bwana sata cannot represent change, well only bad change maybe. just look at a party that calls a convention and ends up insulting democracy. it’s all in the public domain that when he was a government minister, bwana sata once deposited a large amount of government money in his account for reasons that you can all guess, but one levy patrick mwanawasa thought that it was so serious that he resigned his position as veep. plunderers regrouping and you call that change?
