Nkana coach Linos Makwaza has said he will be rooting for his former club Power Dynamos in next months Barclays Cup final against Konkola Blades.
Power and Blades will meet in the Barclays Cup final on November 19 at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
“Obviously Power, Power are the favorites,” Makwaza said.
Blades beat Makwaza’s side 2-1 in the Barclays Cup semifinal played on Saturday at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka while Power defeated Red Arrows 2-0 at the same venue in the earlier lunchtime kickoff.
“I think Power will win, they are playing good football they have good players and I think they have an advantage over Konkola Blades. Power are sharp and complete upfront,” the Power legend said.
Power is targeting their second Barclays Cup title after previously winning the cup in 2009.
Meanwhile, Power are this season chasing a league and cup double, a feat they have not repeated since 1997.

The Barclays Cup Final will be played in 90 minutes, and I don’t see any of the two teamz with an advantage over the other.
with facking injuries when konkola are defending,alone goal,it will be very difficult for konkola to win.mind you power are very fast up front and have good players than konkola blades and by slowing the tempo of the game by facking injuries it won’t help konkola,watch zambian football don’t just comment.
