Former defense Minister in the MMD government George Mpombo has been found with a case to answer in a matter where he is facing charges of theft by servant.

Mr. Mpombo is charged with theft by public servant and uttering a false document. Magistrate, Joshua Banda found Mpombo with a case to answer after the state closed its submission in which 6 witnesses testified.

Magistrate Banda said the evidence in all the counts were fairly sufficient to put Mpombo on his defense. Mpombo is expected to defend himself against the allegations labeled against him on 23rd March 2012.

  1. Is Mpombo already in Nigeria? How about the rumours that he was rejected by nigeria? One thing: The losing of MP petitions by PF and the finding of Mpombo with a case to answer shows that the courts are still Credeable. Keep it up PF!!!

  2. This is liken to when Mr.Sata was disparaging at late president Mwanawasa when he ordered investigations on Chiluba for office abuse and thefts. Chiluba and Sata complaining about it prompted Mr Sata utter satirical rude phrases quote; “Nga ishilu ya ikala pachishala ine kuipalamua nishi wailetelela” ( sorry can’t master language of thieves). Meaning when Sata’s chance to be coronated as MMD presidential candidate failed (due to tricks of Chiluba), Sata was so bitter with this turn of events that he rediculed Chiluba who hand picked Mwanawasa as MMD candidate. Later after winning elections Mwanawasa declared fight on corruption and to demonstrate his resolve began with Chiluba to be investigated. To the shock of Chiluba, Sata was laughing with that satiric saying…Nga ishilu……

  3. Chiluba thought by annointing Mwanawasa he would be spared with his corruption conducts while in office. He was deadly wrong and ended up in courts save RB FTJ was destined for Chimbokaila. This may not save RB once immunity is gone. Mpombo in this case thought Sata would shield his misdids while defence minister. Umulandu ta ubola. A thief is a thief nothing changes him till proven innocent. Mpombo and Mulongoti be ready for court hearing. This is good news to all in PF govt involved with corruption tendecies.

  4. George mpombo is new Ambassador to Nigeria to take over from Alexis Luhila. upto now there is now ambassodar no deputy. Sata pliz appoint me, amnot corrupt lol

  5. Its Me Georgie. My papers have not come back from Nigeria. The courier that was carrying them got burnt in one of those infernos, so we have to start the process all over again. I hope they dont come after my sentencing. Jona, my guy, please expedite the sending of my papers.

    Your bragadaccious brother,
    GM

    • Mr Wade is Sata’s role model.  Wade is 85 and wants to go for another term.  In Zambia we have a geriatric cabinet.

  6. Yes, Patriot # 17, the lizard Wade of Senegal has dribbled Yousour N’dour. In fact N’dour has been ruled out of the race by the courts! It is shameful. Meantime, let the law in this country take its course. The fact that Braggadocio and Mulongoti campaigned for PF should not mean they are immune from the crimes they committed. This time should be business unusual, not business as usual!!!

  7. KEEP IT UP SATA CLEAN THE MESS THIEF’S SHOULD NOT BE IN OUR PF GOVERNMENT MPOMBO CAN NOT REPRESENT YOU IN NIGERIA.UMUSUKU UBI UBIFYA IMPANGA YONSE WATCH GBM ALSO HE IS NEXT TO YOU WE ARE WATCHING HIS ACTIVITIES ALREADY HE IS USING DIFFERENT COMPANIES FOR HIS BUSINESS WE WAIT.

  8. Is Braggadocio Mpombo already parambulating the quadratic streets of Lagos? Assumed he’s on wanted list in Zambia.

  9. Yes, let the law take it’s course. If found guilty, he must be locked up. Forgery is not good for society. All those that have not returned unspent imprest must be investigated and punished. One Zambia One Nation.
