Vice President Guy Scott has assured the nation that no Zambian will go hungry.
Dr Scott says government has already instructed the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit to carry out countrywide assessment to ascertain how many vulnerable households are in dire need of relief food.
He says 200 tonnes of maize will be distributed to four thousand people in Serenje District in few weeks.
Dr Scott says the distribution of Food is a normal routine and should not be politicized.
He says the distribution of relief food will help clear old maize stocks so that the new crop can be stored in the depots.
Dr Scott said this in Serenje Central province on Wednesday.

I’m not his biggest fan but Scott does have a valid point here. The distribution of food should not be politicized: kalembula, impwa, delele and those other delectable culinary treats don’t know the difference between the bitter mouth of an MMD cadre or the toothless one of a PF minister.

Scott has no shame. No wonder he accepted to be a Chola Boy vice president. He is justifying the same things he used to complain about when he was in the opposition. You can clearly see that he is not a credible man as he would like the people of Zambia to believe. He displays his idoicy wherever he is and one wonders what type of cabinet the PF has if such people like Scott can be allowed to occypy such a high office in the land. The impression created is that these idiots are no different after all. In any case, they are worse off. God help Zambia from these nicompoops. Spot on. I used to tell people last year that PF was just the bad parts of MMD that got cleaned out when the late LPM took over. People are now seeing their true fruits in practice.
Distributing food should not be politicised , we are agree.
But note this, sir, Anyone distributing Food in a constituency that is about to have a by election is politicising the distribution of food.
Dr Scott, you are the one politicising the distribution of food. Do you mean to say that the people of Serenje Ccentral did not need food when their late MP was alive? How many constituencies have people dying of hunger? How many chiefs have called for relief food? And why are you not distributing in those areas?
