Fighton Hails Second Bravo Win in Charge

Nchanga Rangers coach Fighton Simukonda has hailed his side’s 1-0 victory over Green Buffaloes in Saturday’s Faz Super Division match played in Chingola.

Striker Alex Ng’onga converted an 8th minute penalty awarded by Kamfinsa referee Milton Mweemba following a handball in the Buffaloes defence.

In an interview, Simukonda described the second consecutive win Rangers recorded since he took charge of the Chingola side as good.

The veteran trainer said Rangers’ recent victories are a true reflection of the team’s improved performance.

“It’s a good win again, for me, the team and for management. Our management is pumping in a lot of money in the team so we have to pay back,” he said.

“Hopefully and God willing if we win the next game it will be a bonus for the team ,”Simukonda added.

In his first as Rangers coach, Simukonda guided his new side to a 3-1 victory over National Assembly on 14 July.

And Buffaloes coach George Chikokola blamed referee Mweemba for the loss.

“I am very disapointed with these match officials. They are going contrary to FIFA’s fair play rules.
This match was supposed to be a 50-50 affair we were denied two clear penalties,” Chikokola said.
