Nkana’s recent impressive run in the Faz Super Division comes under test on Saturday when they host in-form Nchanga Rangers at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
Nkana who are 8th on the league table face 5th placed Rangers in a week 26 encounter whose reverse fixture ended 1-1 at Nchanga Stadium in Chingola on 26 May.
Coming into this match, Nkana beat bottom placed National Assembly 1-0 away in Lusaka while Rangers thrashed victors Roan United 3-0 in their last fixture.
In the absence of Nkana leading scorer Reynold “Sate Sate” Kampamba who is with the Under 20 in Mali, his partner Evans Kangwa will take the burden of scoring goals for the legendary team.
As for Rangers, coach Fighton Simukonda has many options in upfront with strikers Alex Ng’onga, Mathews Macha, Bornwell Mwape, Aubrey Funga and Josphat Nkhoma all available for selection.
Elsewhere, leaders Zanaco face struggling Nakambala Leopards away in Mazabuka while second placed Zesco United host Assembly in Ndola.
