Share

Zambia’s 2013 Africa Cup Group C opponents Burkina Faso and Nigeria will also be involved in high profile warm-ups on November 14.

Zambia are away in Johannesburg on that date where they face South Africa in the Nelson Mandela Challenge.

Nigeria on the other hand will travel to Miami on the same date where the Super Eagles will face Venezuela.

Burkina Faso on the other hand are in Morocco.

However, they will not face Morocco but will be guests of DR Congo in El Jadida.

Zambia will face Nigeria and Burkina Faso on January 25 and 29 respectively at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit after earlier facing Ethiopia in their opening Group C match on January 21.

  1. What is important is that we’re also utilising this particular day though we are playing against pieces of wood. What about playing Egypt? We could have learned one or two things from them, not SA.

    • Bushe whats the story about Kaseba and Sata? i read it on ZWD, is it true? if so thats so sad, can some one elaborate abit, am in the dark about this story, ZWD alone is not enough to trust.

  2. Has , Renard taken the trouble to look at Fwayo ? Fwayo is strong on the ball, can score has rythm ,intelligence and can take on defenders with confidence.Yes, the coach has the final say,but iam sure that Fwayo can add depth to the team. Combine the accuracy of Mulenga, the creativity of kalaba, Fwayo’s Stamina and skill. Now that a force that can be a problem for any team.

  3. Up There 2 –Mbesuma-Jacob—

Just below 3 — Mukuka- Kalaba- Sakuhawa
Real middle 2- Chansa – Chisamba
    Handworking 4- Joseph – Kasonde-Sunzu-Nkausu
Mu goal just 1 – Mweene
I think they are too many, but we saw Spain field 12 players during world cup, just t realize after 7 minutes, too many midfielders.

  4. If you have noticed only Zambia is playing a team that is lowly ranked them on the FIFA table; our colleagues are trying to go for points on the ranking standing!!

    • Imwe Bafana Bafana is not bad…you’ll get a shock if you underrate them going by FIFA rankings. I watched them play in Kenya. they were fabulous away from home. Be careful!

  5. #8 Ba Jay Jay, you point is tough one, but I prefer Zambia to play friendlies with RSA or India than D.R. Congo… abena Tresor Mputu!!?

  6. Burkina Faso and Chipolopolo are preparing well. Those who are playing Venezuela are Xylophone music students preparing for an exam with a Guitar

  7. We are preparing for the AFCON,we should play African teams who will be there. Anyway regardless i just want to hear of a good game by Zambia, from the formation to the actual execution by the lads. the way we scrap through the qualifiers does not instill much confidence, they need to step up and play like real champions! even if they draw or win by a single goal, the game MUST be attractive befitting champions.

  8. Our boys need to win south africa, its not a friendly match its more serious than that and bafana bafana are confident that they can win us especially the way we qualified for next year’s AFCON. Come on boys make us proud, though am in SA, i will be cheering you!!!!!!!! lets go Zambia, lets go. lets show them who the real champions are.
