Mukuka Mulenga leads the list of three new faces in Zambia’s 2013 Africa cup provisional team unveiled today.
The 19-year-old Power Dynamos playmaker has been drafted into the 26-member team together with Red Arrows midfielder Shadreck Malambo and Zanaco defender Salulani Phiri.
However, missing from the team is 20-year-old Nkana striker Evans Kangwa following a poor 2012 a year after scoring 16 goals in all competition in the 2011 season.
Also left out of the team is TP Mazembe striker Given Singuluma who failed to turn up for the Tanzania friendly.
Power goalkeeper Joshua Titima has made the team ahead of Daniel Munayu who was in goal on Saturday in Zambia’s 1-0 away loss to Tanzania.
Meanwhile, Collins Mbesuma and Jacob Mulenga are part of the team that heads to Johannesburg on December 26 for the final phase of training camp.
The team will be cut to the final 24 in mid-January.

Its a good team.Why still keep Chintu Kampamba?Train hard on tactics,set pieces,square balls,passing in space,movement on and off the ball and mental psychology.They need to learn to string passes and when to kill the game.Lastly they have to work on their pace.If this done then there is no stopping us.Merry christmas and a happy new year.GOD BLESS ZAMBIA.

Chamanga has failed to prove himself I dont understand why he is always being drafted. This is the same bais Poulsen had with Vincent Mutale. Singuluma or clifford Mulenga could have been better. Chamanga fumbles with the ball (too often/the game againist Uganda at Ndola is a case in point among many) at the critical moment where calm, composure and calculation are required to put the ball in the net

Zambian zambia on my view Renard has chosen the best team to defend the title, singuluma is not bad but his game is seasonal he is not consistent thats why he is left . leave politics aside mdala we are going the war and not to the battle . Â
singuluma was invited for the Tanzania game, he didnt just turn up for the game but for Clifford,Fwayo and the inclusion of Felix and Kakonje who is not only finished but expired,someone must explain.
