  1. Wow…Aerospraying!!! How environmentally friendly is that!?  Really hope these guys have done their homework on this otherwise this will end up being a very embarrassing  disaster if it turns out that the Aerospraying has adverse effects on the environment and in particular on wildlife. Won’t that be ironic considering the conference is being held for tourism related purposes.

Another thought is if Aerospraying is such an effective way of combating malari! Why has it not been done before or more regularly to control malaria? Should it take foreign delegates for us to think of such an innovation….if it is indeed an innovation?

    • this system has been used before in other countries, it can even wipe out malaria but the thing is its very expensive countries like Zambia cant afford to this countrywode.

  2. We have 7 months left and no infrastructure is developed and you are asking people to invest in it when you have had more time to do so. Why do you do things at the last minute? On top of this the streets are dirty.

  3. Buying so many ambulances, what do the PF government planning to happen? If I was a delegate, I would withdraw my attendance.

  4. DID THEY EVEN START CONSTRUCTING THE CONFERENCE VILLAGE THESE CHAPS? THERE WERE SO MANY THINGS PLANNED FOE LIBINGI, BUT I DON’T SEE ANYTHING APART FROM ONE CONTRACTOR WHO WAS MERE MENDING THE ONLY TAR ROAD IN LIBINGI.

  5. 106 ambulances to take patients to livingstone general Hospital alone.

Can anyone imagine the level of traffic jam just from the ambulances with that poor road network in livingstone.

Does this chap do any research before throwing figures in the air?

  6. Very stupid indeed. Showing care and responsibility to foreigners rather than your voters who put you where you are.Why spend on foreigners rather than Zambians.Who do you care for most?Shameful! Shame on all those who voted for you

  7. Dunderheads, either the minister has been misquoted or he is another dunderhead. Nobody would procure so many ambulances just for a one-off event. They will, obviously, be distributed to other areas.
