MMD Youth National Secretary has warned members that are masquerading as MMD members to desist from doing so.
MMD Youth National Secretary, Tobias Kafumukache, has disclosed that some former MMD members have been masquerading as if they still belong to the former ruling party.
Mr Kafumukache says such unwarranted behaviour has led to the expulsion of some former party members who had been on suspension awaiting their cases being heard.
Mr Kafumukache has also warned youths across the country not to allow themselves to be used by selfish and disgruntled politicians.
He was speaking at a press briefing in Lusaka today.
Mr Kafumukache said the youths should instead use their energy and strength for the upcoming Mpongwe and Livingstone by elections.
The youth secretary also disclosed that he respects the MMD leadership led by Nevers Mumba and Kapembwa Simbao.
He stated that this is so because the duo was duly elected by the convention segmented in provinces.

I feel pity for this party, all these are self inflicted wounds. And they are proving to be fatal. Even if we are not MMD card carrying members, we have a soft spot for this party; we fought very hard in the 90/91 to put these guys in power.
what is happening in MMD is real problem of lack of democracy and conflict resolutions tactics. It contradicts the name of the party, all the leaders are failing to accept that they are in crisis, hence rushing to arrogance, expulsion etc. this is a clear sign of lack of proper philosphy of politics. I would love for real states men to come in and call for reconciliation of all ex and in members to reform the party. There is the a real crisis that is affecting both party members and non party members. Finally, there is poor leadership and selfishness to all who claim to be leaders in mmd
