Promoted Kabwe Warriors have beaten Mighty Mufulira Wanderers 2-1 in a pre-season warm-up match played in Mufulira on Friday afternoon.
Warriors are on the Copperbelt playing four friendly matches and on Thursday thrashed Roan United 3-0 in Luanshya.
Wanderers’ Brian Kabuswe handed the FAZ Division One North side an early lead with a first half strike.
Emmanuel Nondo equalised for Warriors early in the second half before Ronald Mwepya sealed the win late in the game.
On Saturday, Warriors continue warming up for the 2013 Super Division campaign when they take on Konkola Blades in Chililabombwe before facing Nkana in Kitwe on Sunday.
The Nkana-Warriors friendly will mark the re-opening of the refurbished Nkana Stadium.
