Veteran striker Musonda Mweuke scored a solitary goal as visiting Kabwe Warriors stunned Power Dynamos 1-0 in Kitwe.
This was in a FAZ Super Division Week Two match played on Sunday at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.
Mweuke scored the lone goal deep into the first half of stoppage time to help promoted Warriors earn their first three points in the two-game old season.
From the first minute it was inevitable that Power were missing midfielders Mulenga Mukuka and Kennedy Mudenda who where in Lesotho on national duty.
Warriors midfielder Siloni Jere dominated in the mid of the pack and outclassed his rival Christopher “Waddle” Mulenga who replaced Mukuka in the Power squad.
Warriors have now recovered from their week one home defeat to Zesco United.
If we continue playing like we did 2day then the league is ours…
Warrior warrior…
we are back
Walya walya have claimed a major scalp ! We didn’t expect it bwana !
congratulations to warriors, they appeared composed. power dynamos, despite all the good players and financial resources losing to a side that has just come back to the premier and being kicked out early from the continental tournament. Power made a mistake to fire Kabole, I do not think Chambeshi can handle that job.
Walya nganga ndiye alya nkunku
Ifwe nifwe ba Kalampa. Lets go Devil, lets go!
That’s music to the ears. I guess this is the only form ,left, of Zambian football to support. In the spirit of Ucar its go Warriors go!
warriors for life wether in division one two or indeed ten….its walya nganga ndiye walya nkunku
