Veteran coach Fredrick Kashimoto has bounced back at ‘Mighty’ Mufulira Wanderers… as an assistant to head coach Israel Mwanza.
Wanderers secretary Fernando Bwalya confirmed on Thursday.
The club has aborted its earlier plan to install Kashimoto as head coach and demote Mwanza to the role of assistant.
LT Sports understands that Mwanza threatened to walk out on the legendary club once demoted.
The two coaches have since started drilling the team.
Wanderers are this weekend scheduled to face Chindwin Sentries in a FAZ Division One North Week Three match in Mufulira.
Mighty have a point in two matches.

Kashimoto is more experienced than Mwanza and is also older. I can foresee a power struggle here.

Who is Israel Mwanza?Thats why Zambian soccer is on the decline.Every one knows Kashimoto except Mushota who thinks he is Japanese!No he is a Zambian Football legend who cant be an assistant to Israel.Do the obvious guys.

Israel Mwanza is the younger brother to ex-chipolopolo (KK 11) & Nchanga Rangers right full back Peter mwanza. Peter was benched most of the time coz of John Soko was just great. Israel his young brother also played for Nchanga rangers.He even played in the champion’s league when his team won the league title in the 1990s. Im for young blood mourinho, AVB, Pep Guardiola, Roberto Di Matteo, list goes on of succesful young coaches

Mushota, what is in a name??.. You might know Pele the Brazilian footballer legend.. This name Pele is NOT his real name although many of us know him by this Name. Wake up !!
Simply shows Mushota knows nothing at all about football legends and history in Zambia. Mushota could have been in in nursery school or Wolofeya (Welfare) when Fredrick Kashimoto was playing midfield for the then Mighty Mufurila Wanderers.
People, Mushota gets the attention s/he clamors for every time there is a reaction to his/her post. The recommended way to deal with such a person is to ignore any useless posts (like one above) s/he makes. This Mushota is just a sadist not worth responding to in many cases.
