Mukuka back in training

Share

Talented Chipolopolo midfielder Mulenga Mukuka on Thursday trained with the rest of the Zambia squad after recovering from a bout of malaria.

This was the first time Mukuka was training after Chipolopolo entered camp on Monday to prepare for the 2014 Word Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Sudan on June 8 and June 15 respectively in Ndola.

The Power Dynamos midfielder is said to have begun malaria treatment earlier this week.

Mukuka was part of the Zambia home based team that forced a goalless draw against Namibia in last Saturday’s away friendly in Windhoek.

  1. Good luck Zambia. With Mukuka fit I don’t see any place for Chansa this time around. No personal to holder positions in a team. It worked well for Real Madrid with outstanding Lopez.

    • Chansa can play as e diffensive midfielder while Mukuka is an attercking midifielder. If you say maybe Kalaba is threatened I would understand cause the two play in same position. Anyway Chansa is not even in the team. By the way I’m a Madrid sopporter and I admit Lopez did well but if Mourinho didn’t had any problems with Cassilus, Lopez was going to be replaced at some point. I think he is not at the same level he started, believe you me some of the goals Madrid have been conceding of late are due to poor goal keeping.

  2. Think dats da best news dat the Zambia national team has received so far…hope he’ll be able to play against da sothos tho.

  3. That’s good news, we need the young man and I believe he could be our savior. I am very optimistic we shall white wash Lesotho. GO ZAMBIA GO!
