Asamoah Gyan scored a brace in the 16th and 60th minutes while Richard Boateng was sent off in the 27th minute.
Muktahdir El Tadhir scored Sudan’s consolation in the 30th minute to end their 2014 World Cup dreams.
AC Milan’s Sulley Munthari put the result beyond doubt in the 89th minute.
Ghana move from six to nine points after the win ahead of Zambia’s 2game against Lesotho on Saturday in Ndola.

I knew that this will happen by Ghana beating Sudan away, Zambia messed up in Lesotho and as a result of Ghana beating Sudan this evening Zambia will even be under more pressure and end up playing a hopeless game. UNFORTUNATELY KK 11 NEVER ACHIEVED ANYTHING SIGNIFICANT. THE 2012 AFCON TEAM HAS BEEN THE BEST ZAMBIAN TEAM EVER FOR BRINGING REAL GLORY TO ZAMBIA. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THEY WENT DOWN VERY FAST AFTER THAT VICTORY. ONE REASON IS MAYUKA MOVED TO SOUTHAMPTON AND LOST FORM BECAUSE OF NOT PLAYING REGULARY. THE SAME WITH KATONGO AND CHAMANGA. ANOTHER PROBLEM WAS THE GUYS GOT CARRIED AWAY AND STARTED USING THE DONCHI KUBEBA SYMBOL AFTER SCORING GOALS. THAT MADE MANY ZAMBIANS UNHAPPY THOUGH THEY CANT SAY IT OPENLY. I HOPE THE COACHING STAFF HAVE ADVISED THEM AGAINST THAT PRACTICE.

Indeed the truth hates. At the moment chances of Zambia qualifying for Brazil 2014 are very slim. To begin with beating Ghana at their home soil is an uphill battle even with a strong team. To make matters worse our current team at the moment isnt that strong making it a pipe dream, though anything can happen in football. We should have done ourselves a big favour winning that away game against Lesotho to keep a 3 points lead. Now as it is, the chanses we have to qualify is accumulating maximum points from the two home games remaining and pray for not less than a draw in Ghana.

Considering Zambia’s recent struggles both in Sudan and in Lesotho, I now believe that Ghana is the better team in the group. Hard luck Zambia and the Chipolopolo.
