Mwale-Nkana will continue to work hard

Nkana coach Masautso Mwale says the FAZ Super Division leaders must continue working hard after Saturday’s dramatic 4-2 win over visiting Konkola Blades in the week 12 match in Kitwe on Saturday.

Mwale’s team survived a second half scare as Blades led 2-1 before Nkana rallied to win and to maintain their stay at the top of the table.

In a post-match interview, Mwale described the hard-fought win as a sweet victory.

He noted that the two-week break had a negative impact on his team.

“It’s a sweet victory, we are coming from a two weeks break, it can take its toll on any team but I want to commend my boys they have put up a good fight.

“What next? We must continue working hard because consistency is very important in football,” Mwale said.

Nkana leads the Super Division table on 29 points, two above second placed Zesco United who thumped Lime Hotspurs 4-0 in Ndola on Saturday.
