    • @1.1 chief little small cock, at least he’s been to london and you, where ve u been? …if not only in kabanana.

These guys who were arrested how did they get the tug of journalists? In zambia, anyone who reports is a journalist. Were are they registered as journalists.

    • ******** would have been the best for these morons than waste tax payers’ money on judicial processes.

The watch dog and its tribal followers while ridiculing and pouring scorn on the Zambia army, are the ones that have been praising the Egyptian army for the coup, and the same army downed down more than 50 innocent protesters in calculated cold blood.

So we could have given them more than what they wished for by just gunning them down…. end of story

    • Clayson Hamasaka ratted on Thomas Zyambo.

These are not journalists! They are big pieces of doody tarnishing real journalists’ names!

    • @Aromatic
It was the Egypian people that started the revolt and the army moved in to act on the people’s call and not that of a deaf ear. Reporting on that and praising the army for “listening” to the cries of the people is not sedition. Unless of course one understands that he,too, has lied to the people simply because of greed and desperation for power.

  1. “The PF government is the best in the world, it is the perfect example of sound leadership and governance”. Is this how journalists should be reporting nowadays to avoid being arrested? rubbish.

    • How did they miss that,,Hamasaka is tonga,,therefore he must be watchdog,,,
A zyambo arrested for seductively writting a historical account of his beloved president,,,hahahaha

      one party state coming,,,

Lusaka times you are blocking oppossing comments

    • Get your head out of the pf president’s rectum and breathe some fresh air! Your head is so far up his rear end busy licking him, we can barely see your little toes sticking out!

  2. Seditious material? What reports on ZWD encourage or incite people to rebel against this Govt. they are very critical and extremely anti PF but sedition is a bit exaggerated. Besides, we believed that this Govt doesn’t read the ZWD. You have failed to discredit, shut them down and now you want to persecute them.

  3. Zoipa Chitani . Muzakamba bwino kusogolo. Besides why do you read ZWD. ALL THOSE reading ZWD must be charged for conspiracy. The fact is that sataz ministers spend 90 % of their time reading ZWD. AT midnight sataz ministers check for updates on ZWD. We all want news whether tru or false. Post newspaper has creater a vacuume

  4. Guys just write positive things about Sata to avoid being arrested. He is the most intelligent leader the world has ever known. Michael has membe calls him is a Demi god so don’t insult him or you will be arrested. We are so lucky as Zambians to have such a brilliant mind to lead us. NOT

    • Iwe chi Notorious,
What about you? what gibberish are you writing in? maybe you are high on meth???????????

    • @Notorious, Ki puo mang yo bulela munna? U si kebenga. Naha isinyehile bakenisa mina. Amu batu ni sipulumuki sa mueteleli wa mina wa ketululo ye ipitezi ni ku sabisa maswe!

  5. Plz sata stop abusing these innocent women for evil purposee. When you leave they will suffer like a Dola Siliya. Is this what you call 10 commandments. You ve always boasted to be a Catholic. Is that meaning of Catholism. Why is Telephone Mpundu quiete . Is he part of axis of evil being underpined by Fred Mambala

  6. Sata is suffering from Low esteem, ZWD is very much
still running. his is not the only President to be insulted
i don’t even think they have a strong case apart from just
tying to intimidate, Being President is not like being a chief
where people bow before you all the time no no. you are
wasting time trying to chase everyone you think is an enemy
it will be nice to have a tolerant President than a mean one

  7. Lets just change their name from Zambia Police to Sata Police.Afterall, its not like they’re here to serve and protect zambians, they just there to serve the evil whims of the PF regime.

  8. It’s not self esteem Sata and majority of his cabinet suffers from.

It’s rather illiteracy of the highest order. Quite difficult to show them life is about putting your points accross even with opposing views.

  9. In relation to the offences below.. but the offences aren’t elucidated. They want you readers to make them out. If it’s sedition tell us what they did. Police have an obligation to tell the public precisly why they have detained or arrested someone. As much as I aint a watchdog fan our police exhibit their incompetence every day

    • You’ve spoken sense. I can almost forgive the theft of my name. ALMOST.

    • You actually have an easy way out without losing face. Just invent another name, no one will even know it’s you.

Once you do that, I will append my name with a message thanking you.

      See? Problem solved.

    • I have changed my name so blog away as Slow Speed White Mama. But I’ll tell you the story behind the name:
They built a new private school close to where I live, with speed cameras. The speed limit was drastically reduced and I would always forget. I would tear down the street and in 2 weeks got 3 tickets. I would go to pay the fine, and the guy behind the counter would say jokingly “it’s the high Speed black mama!” . It became a standing joke.

My new name is about going horse riding for the first time wearing a tall chiduku on my head. Of course the helmet couldn’t fit over the duku. An oversight on my part.

So peace lady, you can keep the name – maybe it’s meaningful for you too!

  10. Did you have a search warrant? otherwise all the so called evidence you obtained becomes pointless if obtained illegally.

  11. One party state looming KK started jst like this th nxt thing will be all private media closing down, what a seed this government is sowing

  12. “25311 Chalala”…. If you cared to check the City Council records this name doesn’t exist in there. This was coined by minibus call boys and Kaponyas which it seems ZP is an off shoot of.

The policy of recruitment of ZP must change. It seems they always attract third graders and wrong people to its ranks. Most senior officers seem to be of low esteem and caliber and lack self confidence. Look at Charity Katanga, Mary Tembo and the IG. They are dwarfed by the huge responsibilities and charges of professional policing and half the time, they look lost in its complexities.
Solomon Jere almost all the time fails to construct a coherent English sentence and he has a Phd! And now ZP releases an official statement with a false address of Chalala! Speaks volumes, doesn’t it?

  13. Does it mean when u re journalist u can lie,insult,scandalise ,deform pipo’s names etc ? DEM it is allowed?Ati london sweeper!So wat?Dat’s y u steal coz u always want 2 start fro de top.Unwise pipo who keep praising demselves yt dey R F O O L S .

    • @Osmore,
The journalist may have wanted to verify the life history with the owner before publishing. Why arrest him for writing the notes. Those could have been his collections as he compiles the life history. What wrong has he done? He is a journalist.

  14. When a govt start spending more time finding cases against its own citizens, it is a sign the sitting in govt is slowly but surely running out of ideas how to govern the nation. In a country of more then a million, like is the case in our nation, not everyone will agree with a govt. A focused govt will pay little attention to divergent views. This cannot be said of the current setup. Is Zim style of leadership clipping into Zed? All we can do is wonder at the moment.

  15. Hamasaka is a reporter, those of you who are doubting his credibility can check with Hone. You nincompoops who eat through brown envelopes better be real and stop being brainless! What crime have the two committed that the police can not tell us? It is sheer rubbish that government has resorted to criminalise its citizens. Real criminals are terrorising innocent people everywhere but the police fail to conduct morning raids. The thugs even have the audacity to robe citizens within police shelters, yet this prostitute seems only make press releases on police operations when it serves Sata better. FOOLS……….

  16. The PF Police at it again.Jehovah God,come and help Zambia,we’re in maningi trouble.Sata has been turned into a Zombie.

  17. Hamasaka bamujata, hamumuleke mwana mushonto ubadila mapopwe ku Mooonze, machu?? Someone explain coz even me champita mweee!!!

  18. Hating Hamasaka must face trial. The seditious Watchdog must be brought
to trial and its writers and financiers
    jailed. Well done DEC.

  19. Tell me #28,Are you not ashamed of yourself being in an European country where divergent views are entertained by the ruling government? Is ZWD the cause of the political instability or PF.
When the post newspaper was writting lies on Mwanawasa and RB,
WERE ANY OFT HEIR JOURNALISTS ARRESTED AND DATAINED?
In Europe is it legal to conduct a search without a search warrant ?If you fail to see any wrong with what happend then you are are not being truthful to yourself and you one of the PF blind supporters who are rejoicing seeing the majority of Zambians wallowing in poverty.

  20. Wow, pf just watchdog visible to people who didn’t even know it,we have a new post newspaper, viva pf the smartest government ever to rule zambia
