PF Kabwata MP Given Lubinda has described as sick, stories going round of some party members endorsing President Michael Sata’s candidature for the 2016 general elections.
“I think we have said enough about this issue. Let it rest and let us concentrate on developing this nation, for me these are sick stories and we should let them rest,” Mr Lubinda said.
Mr. Lubinda told Journalists in Lusaka that the PF should move forward and forget about endorsements.
“I also find it unfair to ask President Sata to clear the air on this issue because as far as am concerned, there is really nothing to clear.”
Mr. Lubinda said the PF has a responsibility to deliver on its promises to the Zambians.
He said the preoccupation for the PF should be to fulfill the campaign promises and not focusing on who will stand in the 2016 general elections.

You seem to endorse everything PF. You are without doubt a PF cadre. Here, it is important to analyze why GBM has come out so strongly. He is the Defence Minister who has an ear to the ground. You must ask yourself, are there some PF members doubting the president’s health? Are people like Kabimba having presidential aspirations? PF must convene a meeting and findout if indeed GBM’s claims are true. I am beginning to think I addressing my comments to a PF laptop cadre and not an academician.

The chemical reactions within the PF structure seem to suggest that two major molecules are crystallising from Sata’s failure to provide leadership. One molecule is forming around such radical ions in the form of Kabimba, Masebo, Guy Scott, Mmembe with the appendage of Given Lubinda. Another macro-molecule is forming around GBM as a nucleus to which Kambwili, Nsanda, Chikwanda, Sakeni etc are appendages.
Most of u blockers seem to be in one way or another ve manners of PF cadres .why do u spend most of ur time attacking each other on the expense of debating national issues to find lasting solutions
I wonder whats going on in the country. Just because you are saying something opposite to what is happening does not mean you are been objective. If anything majority of students have talked to do not even understand the points they are trying to debate on. If you ask them the best answer they will give you is ‘i heard somewhere’.
Lubinda is right. With Mr Sata ,could it be that he is just being tolerant or too old or too sick indeed to put this disturbing debate to a halt? I am saddened. Both for and against are not doing us any good. Why is the President quiet about it?
If PF National Executive can not find one suitable candidate, then it will necessary to look for alternative leadership outside NEC. That is how Chiluba solved the puzzle. The rest is history.
Given is also trying to attract on lookers and by-passer as someone who would not leak any information by cheating us that things aren’t ok.The day Sata dies will bring shame to Given’s face.Better avoid the media when finding solutions.He is portraying an image that he is good when infact he is as well campaigning.This to me looks like an opportunity for given to build his once dented image.
