The opposition National Restoration Party (NAREP)has called on republican president Michael Chilufya sata to address the nation on how he intends to put to an end the wrangles that have rocked the patriotic front (PF) party.

Responding to a question during the launch of the “cloths for change” initiative in Lusaka today, Narep president Elias Chipimo junior says as the leader of the ruling pf, president sata should come out in the open and discipline his party officials.

Mr. Chipimo says there is need for the pf top leadership to practice tolerance and foster development.

he has since urged the church mother bodies to take the lead in guiding the nation in prayers for various leaders in the country.

Mr. Chipimo has added that the ‘cloths for change’ initiative which NAREP has launched today is aimed at responding to the terrible suffering that the country is witnessing as across the country.

He notes that as he toured the nation, he has noted that people are suffering more especially in rural areas and this initiative will help them to improve their lives.

    • Hey people ,can some one in Zambia fill me in about the salaries of the following professionals;
Doctors, Nurses,Secondary school teacher degree holders, College lecturer, Engineers – mining,Electrical ,civil ,mechanical, police officers, graduate civil servants,University lecturers, Accountants. I need this information for my academic paper on wage disparity in Southern Africa.

    • one wonders if your so called research is a genuine one….looking for data from disgruntled bloggers….anyway good luck!

  1. iwe ka chipimo,a responsible oposition must take advantage of the confusion in pf just lik kabimba rejoiced when mmd was going through hard times.how can you go to state house when pf is scoring?personaly iam comfortable with pf confusion.hard truth ka?

    • iwe Ganja farmer.. what are you talking about??.. true champions or leaders win because they are better than the opponet or they are good in all areas not because of confusion in the opponet camp!!
True leaders dont take joy in other people`s confusions like kabimba was dancing over MMD.. thats why what goes around comes around!!!

And dont say ka chipimo.. say Ba chipimo the man has sound professional qualifications

    • And Chipimo is now Sata’s advisor. What new ideas has he brought to the table that Sata did not know already? Didn’t Sata tell his kind at the airport to keep away from the PF family. Impositors!

  2. iwe ka chipimo,a responsible oposition must take advantage of the confusion in pf just lik kabimba rejoiced when mmd was going through hard times.how can you go to state house when pf is scoring?personaly iam comfortable with pf confusion.hard truth ka?iam just waiting for the day sata wil difer mmembe.

  3. PF should just appoint this boy as their spokesman. He surely doesn’t understand opposition politics. PF wrangles are to his advantage, he should be fuelling it to further his agenda of forming govt one day, of course whilst propagating for his progressive policies. A serious opposition should not be sympathetic to wrangles in the incumbent party. NAREP is behaving like they are in coalition with PF.

  4. Sata has failed to discipline his Party members who are running amok without direction. This has been going on for months now, & he goes away to address the U.N, when serious issues needing addressing are left getting worse, & decaying.
I think he needs a Proper clean out- (Sackings), & bring in new blood based, on merit not Family forest, or Cadres who throw rocks the best.
Politics of ( Cha Cha Cha)- from pre Independence days, where the best Stone throwers were made ministers should cease asap if hes to save his party. We are in a different era now Mr President!

  5. ba chipumo, organise your kantemba party may be it can move from ‘no single seat at local or parliament’ party to something people can wish to consider. no need for your concern about pf, may be I am wrong, you hope to take over pf as there is no credible candidate in pf to replace sata! just thinking

    • You have actually hit the nail on the head. He is waiting to be awaken at midnight the Levy, RB and now Nevers way. This is politics, the Zambian model.

  6. Jr Chipimo listen and listen good. Scrap your small ‘under-five’ party, join in with PF and fight those tribalists from within until you become mature and able to lead Zambia out of it’s current political quagmire. Turn Zambia into a successful story, you have what it takes, you are clean, young, dynamic and conversant with the goings on.

Your Dad (like my late ) where seasoned Politicians who left Zambian Politics clean. I admire you and hold you in high esteem youngman except, you have abandoned old man SATA just to team up with useless ‘fly-by-night’ chancers who not only need positions in your next Govt., but thieves who are only waiting to loot…
Please do not waste time, President Sata needs young and focussed leaders like you and the likes of that lost soul HH. Pls…

    • …and you think the likes of Wynter, GBM and Kambwili will receive him with open arms. That is wishful thinking ba ba.

  7. Good afternoon

Chipimo Jr. is right. These wrangles will not end anytime soon if the president does not poot his foot down.

On the other hand, I just wonder how a single dispute involving one member of the ruling party can get so much attention over such a long time. Are there no other serious issues for us to discuss as a nation?

    • There is so much at stake concerning Kabimba. He should not even try to play victim. He has caused so much confusion both to his party and the nation. His termination will be a great blessing to the nation. He is actually holding the party hostage by threatening to spill the beans should he be fired. We all want to see the color of that beans when it is spilt.

  8. Hi Khondwani, the salaries for your listed professions ranges from $545 to maybe $6000 per month. It would also be fare to say $545 to $2000. You have to work for the right organization, you work for the government in those fields you make less because they work less, laziness in the government as seen t by the caliber of people in-charge of the government. GBM, Mwamba and many more. You make money by stealing from the government of-course you need to be in Lusaka to do that. The country has gone to the dogs. Do not waste your time looking for jobs in Zambia let the dust settle down, it is going to take time, you can not have pertinence 3 years more of the current government and unknown next government should give you an idea why you need to stay where you are, LOL. I love my country.

  9. Leave them to finish each other, chipaye no lamwina! Come in at the end so you can be advantaged in walking all over them to the top. I cant wait to hear what HEMSC will say or decide, does anyone have any idea?

    • @cindy
monday!! HEMSC is expected to do or say something,,, i will be by your side cindy with a bottle of chilled water in case you collapse out of shock.. kekekekek
personally i have prepared myself not expect much from HEMSC.. its seems that these guys have a behind the closed doors understanding that Kabimba will takeover somehow.. thats why Kabimba has wings and his tail is up, he must standing a solid rock.. otherwise by now the guy must have be fired, dropped or asked to stand aside

    • @ Ndobo,
Am keeping my fingers crossed…. praying he is soos gone, otherwise, you always seem to have some good informant out there, so i trust you on this one, finally we get to hear what our president has been thinking about this show down which has been playing down for so long.
      @ Dingiswayo,
I guess he must be Jet lagged… Iol.

  10. Boy, mind your own party’s business: wrangles are everywhere, in Italy, UK, USA, South Korea, Taiwan, Germany etc. They are a sign of health democracy in a party.

    • …and they are being sorted out the way we are doing. In US it is Obama against Republicans, in Italy it is the ruling coalition against Belasiconi….and so back home pf the governing party is every body’s business….

    • The only difference is that the countries you have mentioned have managed to develop their economies and move on despite their political wrangles while we keep going round circles.

  11. Please church, don’t yield to this manipulation of having all night prayers for thugs when you can comfortably sleep or pray for more important things. Please, just tell the fools to stop the foolish behavior or remove them out of power physically and prayer. Its not worthy it entertaining these issues all the time and politician using the Christians to vindicate their failures and folly.

  12. waste your enegies on them, and it may come out as, “don’t Kubeba” deviate their minds to misunderstanding in the party.

  13. This is where Guy Scott’s “It’s none of your business!” comment applies!
Mr Chipimo, concentrate on Selling NAREP, not telling the kaponyas how to behave, leave it to the electorate to decide!!

  14. @Jungle boyand @Nine Chale

Which jungle TV do you watch? The conservatives are divided over the Shut down. Silvio Berlusconi’s party was about to rebel against his directive to pull out of the coalition.

MMD was in power for 14years.

Which dual carriage way did they built? How many bridges, clinics and stadiums did they build? Not to mention township streets which are being refurbished!

    • Oh ba Premier. There are no conservatives in US. The shut down is caused by the Republicans wanting to delay the implantation of the pro poor health insurance scheme (Obama care). The Ndola- Kitwe dual carriage and the Levy Mwanawasa stadium were all built under MMD, Your Honor.

  15. @JUNGLE BOY

CALL THEM REPUBLICANS OR CONSERVATIVES, THEY ALL BELONG TO ONE CLUB .

ONE STADIUM IN ALMOST A QUARTER OF A CENTURY! MONGU AND MANY MORE ARE IN THE PIPE LINE INCLUDING TOLL GATES.

NDOLA CARRIAGE WAY WAS BUILT BY MMD? HOW OLD ARE YOU?

YOUNG MAN, SATA, MAY NOT BE SCHOOLED, BUT HE’S NO FOOL. HE HAS MASTERED THE ART OF QUIETLY SURPRISING THOSE WHO SNIPE AT HIS LACK OF EDUCATION AND MODERN ETIQUETTE.

PLEASE REALIZE THAT CLOSE TO 7-MILLION PEOPLE VOTED FOR SATA IN 2011. MYOPIC PEOPLE LIKE YOU WOULD WONDER WHETHER VOTERS PAUSED TO THINK ABOUT THE PRESIDENT’S LACK OF A FORMAL EDUCATION.

IF HH IS A MILLIONAIRE AS PEOPLE PROJECT HIM TO BE WHY HAS HE NOT ELECTRIFIED HIS VILLAGE OR SINK SIMPLE BORE HOLES IN HIS HOMESTEAD?

  16. This Chipimo guy is making sense. To me he seems like someone responsible and with a heart for the people. Maybe I need a NAREP membership card thiough I am non partisan.

  17. the sata we all knew died the first time he went to China and came back with those funny looking chinese suits trust me on that even his talk changed lol

  18. Chipimo that’s the signs of a good leader who cares and not take advantage of the opponent failure. I think 2016 am putting my vote on you. But promise that you wont change like we have seen in other ex opposition parties.
