    • Did u watch the Game. I personally feel Emma has seen his better days coz u can’t have a player who dives when he has an opportunity to score. After the Afcon he has only scored 1 goal in a friendly at South. In fact Zambia needs to start searching for a Top man

Zulu is spot on…it was a forced substitute and yes I watched the whole match. If you had watched the game then you would have noticed that Mayuka is their hope in their fight to stay up…the boy was fast on the run, 90 percent of his touch was magical, even when they were two goals down everybody knew that Monaco was not safe…it was Mayuka that inspired that team to fight more so when he had two to three defenders to contain with-his only problem is height, he has everything-control, vision, power, name it….the boy will be back-all you doubters can take this to the bank…i just hope and pray that his injury is short term…

    • Well said Dojo@ 1.4
For those of us that saw this game, Your analysis is spot on!Once Mayuka gains enough Game Time, which hes not really had since leaving Switzerland, will be a Force to reckon with in French League 1 football.

  1. I watched the match. It was very exciting, but i was however disappointed by Mayuka`s performance. The dude missed three clear scoring opportunities with one of them where he was one on one with the keeper. Sochaux was a better team in that game.I was very proud of them.

    • The sitter he missed had too much pace on it…the other two misses are natural to someone who has played football before…i have seen VAN P miss better chances—you will be soon supporting Mayuka…AGAIN.

  2. Well mayuka is an average player who can just give BP if you wait on him.Wishing Rena well he had outlived his usefulness here.Search for talent should continue…change brings new hope we may get goals this time…

    • Remember that everytime a new manager takes over; players always try to impress him…Renard will soon be exposed. Moreover the PE teacher was the least of Zambia’s problems the cancer to Zambia’s problems is in Football House and the Great King based in RSA…the sooner you folk WAKE UP and RELIES this the better for Zambian Football.

    • Another reason our players “finish” quickly is that the cheat their ages hence their dietitians are unable to specify the appropriate diets for them. The likes of Giggs can play at that stage of their career because the adhere to a specific diet specific to the age take the example of Emmanuel Mbola he claims to be 20 years old and is prepared a diet program of a 21 year old yet his actually 25… he is just cheating himself and his body.

  3. Please Renard, can I join you in ze French liga? Ze people in zambia are crazy! Zey arrest ze player and take zere passport here.

  4. Monaco is a very strong team full of quality players, & for Herve’ to guide his team to a draw against them after going 2-0 down within 10 minutes, shows what a quality Coach he is. Those who understand French soccer will know that was similar to Manchester City going 2 up against Norwich, & Norwich coming back to level + out- playing City in the 2nd half.
Zambias problem as witnessed against Brazil, is lack of goal scoring players, as evidenced by Mayuka missing 3 chances.
Herve’ will do well @ Sochaux as he’s got Goal scorers, & if they misfire he can buy @ the transfer window.
For all the Renard haters, he will do well @ Sochaux, make a name for himself, & one day in future possibly manage in the premiership.
For the haters their bitterness will remain static!

  5. In Zambia Renard never had a plan B, back home (his home) he seems to have one, i.e, he is able to make changes that work.

  6. If Herve was our coach when we played Brazil, we were going to draw that game… Nobody has won anything with draws, not even an independence tournament in Mpongwe can be won with draw!! We wish him the best of luck though!

  7. Suprisingly when Herve saw that Mayuka had gone to the french club Sochaux..He also followed was that a coincedence?I remember Renar calling loud at Mayuka just out side the pitch line.Mayuka!Mayuka!

  8. The Chipolipolo were able to win the Afcon because Renard was able to produce the best defense formation at the tournament. It is the more reason they were ejectd from the prevous outing without even losing a single game. This defense formation even Brazil had to rethink in order to penetrate it. This is what Renard was good at. The ability to make worldclass defenders. He knew that lf you cant score at least you be able to defend well.We cant take it away from him.

  9. Funny how some arm chair critics were calling Renard a P.E. teacher when he was the Zambian coach. I wonder what they have to say now?

A PE teacher is far much better than an interpretor….mwabuka buti…. He says goodmorning. But this interpretor is among the in football.

  11. dear editor
I went to zanaco kasama with so much excitement and anticipation because the pf government had promised us nurses that it would look into the concerns we had raised during the strike action but was shocked after spending over 2hours in the que to find that the promise government made to look into our plight this monthend has become another 90 days lie(BUFI). There has been no increase in our salaries from the previous k300 increment even the 4% rectification of the basic pay has not been tackled it is another bufi most of us are still getting the k6 increment. I was so anoid that i sat at the lawn of the bank to gather my thoughts, bushe kwena why should government keep on lying to us? To start with the strike started not because we wanted a bigger increment but because the…

  12. Give Renard a break. He won you Afcon with average players. Zambia has never won the afcon with better players but he did with so so players. The man made Zambia shine with team work.
