    • Nkana won the league 11 titles as Nkana Red Devils. When Jabes Zulu (late) became chairman , he invited pastor Nwaka as the Club chaplain. He and Jabes changed the name to Nkana football club . The word Devils was removed. The decline of Nkana started there and then. They were demoted to the lower league.They have been called Nkana football club with no win. Now that we have pushed and continued chanting Devil !Devil.!…..we are winning again. Nalelo yee ba Devil Bawina!!!!!!

29. We have won the 2013 league not because of any special ‘favour’ from God. We had the same ‘favour’ as any other team in the league. We won because we trained well, were disciplined and resilient. From Gods view there is nothing special about Nkana over teams like ZESCO, Power, Ranger, Arrows or Mighty in Mufulira. Lesa aliba fair, so its how a team prepares itself in a managerial role and on the pitch that determines champions not ifyabupuba ifyama favour.
