Nchanga & Arrows gear up for Barclays Cup final

Nchanga Rangers and Red Arrows have stepped up their preparations for Saturday’s Barclays Cup final in Lusaka.

The two teams clash in the 2013 Barclays Cup final set for Nkoloma Stadium as the curtain comes down on this year’s local soccer season.

Nchanga and Arrows were on Thursday involved in friendly matches to warm up for the Barclays Cup.

Fighton Simukonda’s side beat Konkola Mine Police 2-1 with goals from Bornwell Mwape and Emmanuel Phiri while, Jack Sunzu scored for the Chililabombwe outfit.

Meanwhile, Arrows defeated the Zambia Under-20 by 1-0 in Lusaka thanks to Shadreck Malambo’s lone goal.

George Lwandamina’s Arrows saw off Green Buffaloes from the Barclays Cup at the semifinal stage while, Nchanga eliminated Zesco United at the same stage.

  1. Ba Arrows u ar a let down,,honestly how could u just give out them game to Nkana so easily..
    Am gud follower of zega mambo zesco united…come wknd my card & evrythn will be on Brave Rangers,,they ar the 3rd League runners up & Legible to carry Barclays cup..

    • @ BAGS, so u think Arrows just gave that game to Kalampa? NO NO NO……, ask them my friend in person they will tell U how they did all they could to beat Nkana but found that aba RED ebabako, INSHIMBI NINSHIMBI, Kalampa the backbone of Zambian football. So u Zega wanted another team to help your way up to the top? Ha ha ha…… just work extra hard on your own Zega by ensuring u collect maximum points from each and every game. But I doubt if they will even be next time 4 U to come so close coz the KINGS OF ZAMBIAN FOOTBALL “NKANA” HAS TAKEN OVER THE REIGN till …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….AMEN.
