United Party for National Development (UPND) vice president Richard Kapita has charged that corruption is endemic in the PF government.

Mr Kapita has challenged President Michael Sata to tell the nation as to whether the cancelled procurement of 42,000 metric tones of Urea fertilizer from a Chinese company is not part of the alleged corruption taking place in his government.

UPND vice president for administration Richard Kapita has wondered why the said procurement of fertilizer was cancelled and what President Sata is doing about it.

Mr. Kapita has told Qfm in an interview that both President Sata and Agriculture Minister Robert Sichinga should tell the nation what is going on with regard the cancelled procurement of fertilizer from a Chinese company.

He says it is also surprising to note that some PF members who were driving cheap cars are suddenly driving brand new expensive cars in the short period the PF government has been in power.

Mr. Kapita says time will come when the UPND will hold such people accountable to explain their source of such wealth.

    • Sata and PF bemba party is full of thieves. Don’t put your hopes in Satan. He is useless for Zambia. As long as PF remains in power, Zambia will continue to be third world and poor. You need radicle change in Zambia and Bemba’s are note the type to bring development.

  1. Kaya mwee ungafunte nama politicians aba coz they are all the same. just live your life, make your own money and feed your family. then die and rest in peace like Madiba. no one politician will change your life especially in Africa, take the lead to change your own life, maybe in the developed world pipo can depend on politicians not us blacks

  2. HH made his own money and so did kapita but sata is still chasing him. Nchito and membe stole big time and sata loves the two

    • Someone said he became rich through privatisation of Zambia’s parastatal companies, and bought some of them like Sun Hotel. Is it true?

  3. It is very annoying to watch how people in PF are getting rich when the common man who voted for them is suffering and being fired (Nurses). …. For example Joffrey Chuumbwe has bought 5 vehicles in just 2 years each costing not less than K100,000. I hope the people will be made to account for our resources.

  4. A corrupt person can never engage into a fight against corruption. If prouncements are made as it were that a fight against the vice has been launched, it will just be a lip mouth battle to hoodwink the general public thus, contrary to what is really taking place on the ground. That is the current Zambian scenario. People who talk loudly against corruption are actually the ones who busy engaged in very sophisticated corruption issues.

  5. Richard Kapita you now agree that its too short a time to deliver development in all parts of Zambia. Two years is long enough for some one to save for a motor vehicle. Check your facts right and report all corrupt persons to ACC, and not the press.

  6. Ahhhh is this true youngest PS Mwitwa fired for embazzling funds? Another story of Ministry of Lands and City Council???????Hooow even?
