New Nkana arrivals Bruce Musakanya and Frank Chibuye will be restricted to light training for the time being.
The midfielders have just returned from injury and coach Masauso Mwale said the duo will be slowly eased into the team over the coming month.
“Frank and Bruce are on light training. They are OK but we don’t want to involve them too much,” Mwale said.
“We will involve them in the league and Champions League.”
Musakanya made a low key Nkana debut on Monday in a 2-1 friendly defeat at the hands of DR Congo club Don Bosco in Kitwe before he run out of gas in the first half and was substituted at half time.
Meanwhile, both Musakanya and Chibuye have travelled with Nkana to Congo to play two friendly games against hosts TP Mazembe and Don Bosco this weekend.
Zesco United too have travelled to play in the same four team tournament in Lubumbashi.
Zesco will face Don Bosco in the first game at 14h00 on Friday while Nkana and TP Mazembe will meet at 16h00.
Zesco and Nkana will wrap up their visit to Lubumbashi on Sunday with games against Mazembe and Don Bosco respectively.
