Bruce Mwape to return to Roan Utd?

Bruce Mwape, the head coach of FAZ Super League side Konkola Mine Police, has been linked with a move back to struggling Roan United.

Mwape ditched Roan for Mine Police last August.

Sources close to the development say Mwape is on the verge of re-joining Roan who are currently under the tutorship of caretaker coach Kaunda Simonda.

His one-year deal at Mine Police is expected to expire in July.

“Roan United are currently talking to coach Bruce Mwape. The executive has promised to rectify some of the things that made him leave for Mine Police last year,” a source said.

Mwape had joined Roan in July 2012, just 17 days after he was fired as Nchanga Rangers head coach.

He is said to be unsettled by reported financial challenges at Mine Police that have led to the non-payment of dues to both coaches and players for months.
