The United Party for National Development (UPND) has expelled its Sinjembela Member of Parliament Poniso Njeulu from the Party. The decision to expel Mr Njeulu was arrived at by the Party’s National Management Committee (NMC) which sat in Lusaka on Thursday 22nd May, 2014.

Mr Njeulu has been expelled for gross misconduct. The Party’s Secretary General Mr Winston Chibwe has since written a letter to the Speaker of the National Assembly to declare the Sinjembela seat vacant.

  1. Thank you UPND. This will give another seat to PF. Slowly we shall have the numbers we need pass the constitution in parliament.

    • @ ZedpoorPeople

The reason Michael Sata won elections in 2011 was exactly because he had come to know Zambia better. HH is still learning that lesson.
You can’t expect to expell Poniso Njeulu in that part of the country and expect to win back the parliamentary seat – he is literally a god there, he comes from those villages and grew up there the same way some of you grew up in Kalingalinga. Us, THE PF, are taking that seat now…with the same person Poniso. You guys have no idea how Sata has transformed the Senanga-Sioma-Shangombo region of Western prov. That is why PF will win that seat…and we will do it without even campaigning. Mule bwata-bwata fye muno mu Lusaka, na Zambia tamwaishiba. That is why I keep telling you that 2016 PF will win again!

    • PF cannot who in Barotseland. There is a case waiting for them in the Hague over Barotseland. Come 28 th of May things will be happening.

  2. Another by-election? This time caused by our very own HH. Phew! I think Zambian politics has not yet matured as we are going through the same circles. Who will HH blame now for this?

  3. Exactly as expected of UPND. That is exactly how Tongas behave…that is how they are, very dull. These are the same tactics that saw RB lose elections in 2011. But who cares? That is why 2016….PF nafuti nafuti nafuti nafuti nafuti. Muleti bwangalo imwe!

    • So R.B. Is also Tonga ka!! Don’t use that empty tin sitting between your shoulders to make tribal comments. Have a life?? Am a very proud and intelligent Tonga who knows how intelligent the rest of us Tongas are – that’s why we normally igmore your stupid tribal comments – we are above board, above petty tribal talk!! If you are even able to comprehend what I mean!!! Lol

    • Mwembweshi ,

Your are very very stupid. You say”that is exactly how Tongas behave…that is how they are, very dull” . Who do you think you are? Do Tongas berg like you? fool. The devil must curse you today.

    • @ Linda

      @ Janza kumbele

I respect your disrespectful opinion. Again, you are still behaving exactly as expected of Tongas, very dull – you have just confirmed my judgement. You can’t argue your point without insulting others because you are too dull to construct a logical argument. Respect my opinion, even if you don’t like it. I wasn’t born to please you.

    • Haha.. @mwembeshi, calling your friends dull mean while the “Best Bemba” this world has ever known Micheal Sata and his Bemba friends have failed to run the country. I am not tonga and I judge them because they have never been tested. But for Bembas who claim to be intelligent but have nothing to show for ( in a country that they are the majority) it’s a SHAME!!

So mwembeshi enjoy staying in the UK that the British worked for, than your pathetic Zambia that your “intelligent” Bembas have failed to develop.

  4. Well done UPND, discipline is cardinal in any organisation. You can’t be proud of having huge numbers full of stoopid ldiots. Congratulations to the new appointees.

  5. This move by UPND shows they care more about quality leadership than mere numbers. This is totally different from PF who employs mostly social misfits to top leadership. If UPND can keep up this intolerance to stu!pidity Zambia has at last a hope of a better future.

  6. “Mr Njeulu has been expelled for gross misconduct.” What did they guy do that warrants his expellation? Accepting a DM (Deputy Minister) position, or what?

Awe kwena ama politiks yapa Zambia yashupa sana!!!!

  7. The political prostitution and as played by Njeulu must not be condoned . The character ya buhata (lies) and bumenemene (trickery) is not our way of life in Barotseland . That Njeulu knows very well. My appeal to him haiba ki mwana mutu mi una ni mazebe asike amatela kwa kuta to try and stop or delay this expulsion. Let him own up and go straight to PF who will adopt him of course. As to whether he will win the sit back that is the next stage. Let us not the cross the river before we get there. What I know is that he has contributed to PF ‘s arrogance to the extent that they have done the following negatives with impunity : 1 . Trivialized and marginalised the Barotse Royal Establishment , Refused to give Zambians their much needed constitution, Run unprofessional Civil Service etc.

  8. I wish to advise all the people not to reduce them selves to tribal comments leave the rubbish to sata mumba and hh those are people who benefit from dividing you on tribal nonsense not poor hardworking zambians ,and dont be foolish priticians at top level not even do that as you think
