Leaders Zanaco host depleted National Assembly as the 2014 FAZ Super Division season resumes after the three-week mid-season break.
While Zanaco have lost midfielder Isaac Chansa who moving abroad and a year a half with The Bankers, Assembly have suffered a serious exodus of key players.
Assembly’s top scorer on six goals Peter Mwangani is training with Indeni together with captain and defender Morgan Kanjolo while midfielder Timothy Mbewe has trekked to Napsa Stars.
“When a guy tells you he wants to go and you tell him not to go but what do you do?” Kapembwa lamented.
Meanwhile, Kapembwa is no under any illusions that his seventh placed side faces a tough game against leaders Zanaco.
Assembly snatched a point off Zanaco in Week 1 on March 15 to finish 2-2 on day one of the 2014 league season.
“This being the first game in the second round and having played Zanaco so it is not something new. We will be cautious but we are preparing well for it,” Kapembwa said.
Zanaco must beat Assembly to remain top because a draw on the day at Woodlands Stadium could see them surrender their lead to second placed Zesco United who visit Indeni on the same date in a Ndola derby.
Zesco and Zanaco are tied on 33 points from fifteen games but the latter leads on goal difference.
