“Stylish” Roan sign five new players

Struggling FAZ Super League side Roan United have signed five new players in the midseason transfer window.

Roan have aquired strikers Nasha Kaya from Lime Hotspurs, Alex Mwiche from Forest Rangers and little known Richard Nkhoma from Kafue Celtic.

The rest are defender Goodson Kachinga who leaves Chambishi and winger Josphat Nkhoma from Lime Hotspurs.

New coach Dean Mwiinde hopes the new players will play a vital role as Roan fight against demotion.

Roan are second from the bottom of the Super League table with 14 matches left before the end of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Roan were on Thursday held to a 1-1 draw by Division One North side Kitwe United in a friendly match played at Garden Park Stadium in Kitwe.

Striker Lyson Sikaonga scored for Roan while The Buchi Boys scored through forward Ezzy Lundu.
