JUSTICE Minister Wynter Kabimba has said that President Michael Sata is very well and discharging his duties very well.
Responding to question on the concerns by opposition regarding the health of the head of State, Mr Kabimba said that concerns by the opposition about the health of President Michael Sata are malicious and should be treated with contempt by all well-meaning Zambians.
Mr Kabimba said even in Parliament, Speaker of the National Assembly Patrick Matibini had often curtailed the debate and the public also understood that the opposition was being malicious.
“Since when did they show concern about the President? This is a man they have not accepted that he beat them to an election in 2011. This is a man they vilified,” Mr Kabimba said.
“He has proven them all wrong. Instead of hanging their heads in shame, they have to find another route of trying to discredit the man.”
Mr Kabimba said the so-called concern from the opposition political parties about the President’s health was malicious and being expressed in bad faith, not with the interest of the nation at heart.
“The President is very well and discharging his duties very well. This country is developing under his tutelage at an unprecedented level. And I can tell you that he’s winning the election again in 2016,” Mr Kabimba said.

I’m not sure about that Mr Kabimba. Iet me list just some of the duties of the president in the last month
1) Representing Zambia at the African Union Heads of State Summit and other fora
2) Opening the Agriculture and Commercial Show
3) Swearing in constitutional office bearers
4) Receiving credentials from foreign dignitaries accreddited to Zambia
I doubt these duties are being executed by him. On 1 it is Kalaba and Scott executing this duty. on 2) it was Scott. on 3) well he was forced to do this and did it late, on 4) it is Kalaba who has been doing this for a while now, another first in Zambia’s history
