The opposition Movement for Multi Party Democracy (MMD) has observed that the United Party for National Development’s hunger for power is deceiving it to start believing that it is in State House already.
The MMD National Secretary Muhabi Lungu has charged that his party is of the view that the UPND would make a worse governing party the country has ever had , even worse than the ruling PF.
Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka this morning, Mr. Lungu has also observed that statistical data of elections since 2001 clearly shows that the UPND is on a path of decline.
Mr. Lungu explains that the UPND in 2001 got 27 percent of the total votes, in 2006 they got 25 percent, in 2008 they got 20 percent and recently in 2011 they managed to get 18 percent of the total votes which shows that they are declining.
He adds that the path to State House entails an upward swing of not less than 20 percentage points after a decline of 9 points which would be unprecedented in Zambia’s history.
Mr. Lungu says this upward swing, which he says is unbelievable swing, is put in context when one considers that the UPND failed to even get 5 percent of the vote in four out of the nine province in 2011 namely Copperbelt, Eastern, Luapula and Northern Provinces.
He wonders why the UPND has thus continued to using underhand methods to compromise the MMD members and enticing them to join them when the UPND Leader has time and again said the MMD is a dying party.
Meanwhile, confusion erupted at the MMD secretariat when former MMD Task Force Chairman Tomson Maimisa appeared with statements and attempted to start giving the press before some MMD officials pounced on him.
Mr. Maimisa appeared at the scene to demand that the MMD apologize to Home Affairs Deputy Minister Nickson Chilangwa for mocking him and using his disability as a campaign tool.
Mr. Maimisa states that if the MMD does not apologize for the remarks against Mr. Chilangwa and all the disabled people in the country within 24 hours, he will personally mobilize the disabled people and demonstrate at the MMD secretariat.
Muhabi, please join UPND otherwise these flippin PF will win 2016 and I will be a very very very sad person…..
I agree upnd are hyped by the media
They remind me if zadeco. You can’t continue to be led by a tribalist or someone whose past is questionable and has yet to win any election of any kind
UPND is like a Toyota Cressida. Well PF is the Q7 Audi. Which one do you want to give you a lift?
Thanks
If there is a politician in opposition today who is not hungry for power then he must as well just quit politics and be a full time farmer because there will be nothing to motivate him in politics.
UPND and MMD both need to be focused and avoid distractions. The bickerings are not helpful and will not put any one of them in state house. Zambia needs issue based politics. God bless Zambia.
This is were the educated opposition lose it,,,, why are you fighting amongst yourselves you twits?? stay focused both of you,,,,,,,,ala!!
I think MMD have been paid off by PF to bring confusion within the opposition because how else can one explain this dumbass move?
It just doesnt make sense for the opposition to be decampaigning each other when they are supposed to remain focussed on Plot 1. Shame Muhabi, I thought you had smarts. This just makes no sense at all.
Mr.Lungu, it will make great sense that you stop sounding like Bowman. You are an educated guy though your judgement is questionable. You always seem to be on the wrong side of politics, but in doing so, please sink with decency. People will respect you. I am sure you will be the last one to know that the tide is blowing in UPND’s favour. I cannot wait to hear you congratulate UPND and HH on 20th Sep after the Mangongo results are announced.
Muhabi, well done.I think this is good because it’s not good for the Party President to always respond to false hood. This can be done by other functionaries as demonistrated by Muhabi.Let HH and his Leadership learn something from this.HH is always responding even to false hood before verifying.
I didn’t know that Muhabi also has diarrhea of the mouth. Shame on you ma.
MMD is like an old wrinkled lady, no one is interested in her anymore. They are like a used condom, good to be flashed in the toilet.
THE HUNGER I’NGOMBE ILEDE PORTY HAS IS DRIVEN BY THE SPELL CAUSED BY THE FREEMASON HH.tHIS EVIL MAN IS NOT TO TRUSTED.CHRISTIANS NEVER GIVE POWER TO THE DEVIL FOR HE WILL COME TO KILL,STEAL AND DESTROYE…….NEVERS IS THE ANSWER IN JESUS NAME
I said it folks, the plan between PF and MMD is under way to be finalised once UPND wins the Magongo seat. Now it will be MMD, PF and UNIP against UPND.
This explains why every jim and jack in MMD is directing their verbal diarrhoea at UPND the party of the future.
MMD cadres are on PF ‘s pay roll, to discredit UPND because they are shaking in their pants. Even Nevers Mumba once accused Sata of funding confusion in MMD(Zambia reports 20 March 2014).
Meanwhile, Zambians enjoy the cartel ‘s reign in the absence of SATA who passed on at 02.00 on the 20 June 2014 and was pronounced brain dead upon arrival in Israel.
By the way who is Muhabi Lungu, in the academic circles?
God is bigger than the Freemasonry scare tactics and the economic needs of Zambia are critical than the propaganda. The Western and developed countries that most of us admire were built by Christians and non Christians. God can use anyone to ensure that people’s needs are taken care. The duty lies with Christians to pray for the leaders and hold them accountable. Both UPND and MD can win the 2016 elections the major concerns are the politics of distractions , lack of focus and not being issue based.
Meant taken care of and UPND and MMD
Which character do bembas have apart from stealing. Stealing is your preparation.
Your sadness is guaranteed exe. Its PF in 2016 too
why is mmd always attacking the UPND? the problem with these bembas wetther in pf or elsewhere, they dont want anybody else to rule unless you are one of them thats why MMD, PF, NAREP, name them all, they are just one and the same
HH is on record to have said that those still in MMD are out of their mind or in short fools. He further went into the trap the Post Newspaper set for him when they reported that Nevers Mumba had said that HH’s non attendance of the Mutomboko Ceremony was because he was a tribalist.WITHOUT verifying this statement with his colleage,HH went ballistic.Who then between UPND and MMD is attacking the other?
Since when did Muhabi Lungu become Bemba? You seem to be paranoid mate.
No one should be judged by tribe but by character.
Muhabi Lungu is not Bemba. Why should you always bring issues of tribe even where it is not necessary?
why are you always chasing bemba shadows kanshi…………..fortunatelly teti mutukwanishe
Cared to imagine they are the born rulers ?? Even independence failed to come with Nkumbula until the Bemba chaps dislodged him. Ask VJ. Tongas like playing too much — especially woman – they just shut down
Mr Muhabi Lungu, the moment the Post Newspaper wrote that article, if you felt there was any misrepresentation of facts you should have acted swiftly by categorically denying. But it took about 5 days for Mr Mumba to come out and state his position. My take is that, you had to buy time to study the article word for word and had to craft a response. HH and UPND have every right to respond and were not obliged to verify the story, especially going statements that you have been issuing through Bowman Lusambo. The onus was on you, Mr Mumba and MMD to denying the story. Don’t blame HH that he veered off the topic by attacking Mr Mumba personally. It’s a lesson for Mr Mumba, you must be selective the way you give interviews, some media have an agenda.
I agree. Why did they take so long to disown the story by the Post? Clearly, they were waiting for a UPND reaction so that they could attack the ‘real’ enemy that has seen nearly all their people defecting to it.
There’s wisdom in patiennce/waiting other than always responding at impulse.Muhabi well done. The UPND spicies have been hit below the belt, and you can see how their internet cadres are up-in-arms.Now it’s not Ing’ombe Ilede-but the cow has waken up too late.
Iwe ka chosen one you have got all this wrong. HH attacked Mumba on the same day that Post article came out on 31 July. How did you expect MMD to disown the Post story when HH went after MMD at 6:45 in the morning? MMD was responding to both The Post and HH who attacked at the same time. Besides, Nevers already denied the story last Friday. Please don’t show your ignorance.
I’NGOMBE ILEDE CHAPS ARE BLOGGING LIKE DEMONS….THESE TONGA’S,THEY REALLY THINK THEY ARE ALREADY IN STATE HOUSE AHAHAHAHAH..Lol
No one should be judged by tribe but by character.
Iwe ka Vaat Daar Fook,
If you think Nevers was misquoted, why hasn’t he sued the Post Newspaper? If you also think Nevers and MMD mean well, they would have vented their anger at the Post and end there, than again attack UPND, the victim of “false reporting”. That’s what genuine leadership entails. Muhabi for me was going to score points if he just pointed out the issue of Nevers being misquoted and move to outline the party’s vision when it forms govt in 2016.
Nevers can decide not to sue for a million reasons (eg its too costly and a waste of time). Him not doing it proves nothing. Whether Nevers means well or not is irrelevant. Read the full statement on MMD website. They said they decided to respond to UPND after keeping quiet for some time. This is was not the first time they were attacked. So you expect them to just take things lying down? Would UPND do that if things were reversed?
Is this what passes for a press briefing dear Muhabi? You’re a very petty chap . Honestly what exactly prompted this trash from you? Is it the former MMD District Commissioners who reportedly joined UPND yesterday? Dear Muhabi use your politics courses from UNZA to understand that its sitting governments that lose elections. The populace is hugely dissatisfied with the PF and will look for an alternative. At the moment the UPND is more likely to be the next government. UPND is united while your MMD and PF are in dissarray because of leadership wrangles and mediocrity.
As long as UPND is not popular in Northern, Eastern, Luapula, Muchinga, Copperbelt, Lusaka and parts of Central provinces they will never form government. Remember Southern Province taught Zambians how to vote.
UPND is headed for another heavy defeat come 2016.It is not enough to have 71% popularity in 1 province (southern province) and less than 4% in 4 provinces(copperbelt, eastern, luapula, muchinga & northern) and expect to win a national election.
This time for the PF to win, you have to bring Sata from the ancestors’ land. You might find it hard to swallow but HH is unstoppable due to the mess PF have put themselves in. Do they even have meetings? Even Provincial Chairmen have developed cold feet.
Don’t cheat yourself. PF is ruling now and will rule you minimum 10 more years. You will eventually get used to this development oriented party. When did you ever have such road works ever before?? We want infrastructural development NOT cows.
UNLESS THINGS CHANGE; PIPO HAVE NO OPTION FOR 2016.PF WILL WIN WITH A LAND SLIDE. MMD WILL BE 2ND, UPND 3RD.
@afcon phiri
WAIT FOR YOUR VOTE SPLITTING BTWEEN YOUR TOP TWO PLUS NAREP PLUS FATHER BWALYA AGAINIST ONE UPND.
my bro i agree with you 100%
pf will have votes from copperbelt, northern, muchinga, lusaka, central ,
upnd is choma,monze,gwembe.kalomo.namwala,livinstone and magoye
mmd is chipata,chadiza,lundazi,and katete.
surely can upnd win.
True. Accurate prediction
Muhabi Lungu is a snake!
I HAVE BEEN AN OBSERVER OF ZAMBIAN POLITICS FOR OVER 25 YEARS AND MARK THIS WORD- PF IS WINNING 2016 ELECTIONS. BOTH MUMBA AND HH ARE SO POWER HUNGRY THAT THEY ARE GOING TO SPLIT THE VOTES WHICH WILL BE TO THE ADVANTAGE OF PF.
As it should be. Amen
The better !!!
Muhabi for once concentrate on rebuilding your lost credibility instead of attacking your fellow opposition. HH is gaining ground everyday while you are bent on castigating him, give us your roadmap on how you are going to win the next election as it is clear that your house is divided already. By the time you will open your eyes HH will be president, so cut the crap and offer us your best alternative solutions to the PF’s misdeeds.
Seriously, the UPND has been in decline: UPND in 2001 got 27 percent of the total votes, in 2006 they got 25 percent, in 2008 they got 20 percent and recently in 2011 they managed to get 18 percent of the total votes which shows that they are declining. One wonders why they make so much noise when the figures speak very clearly. And with the massive infrastructure that the PF have rolled out countrywide what will the UPND get if not zero.
Dude, the thing with voters right now is they will not look at infrastructure development, especially the uneducated hungry ones. They will look at who is standing and I know that you are intelligent enough to know that this is the end of the road for Sata. He is not standing in 2016. I also know that you are intelligent enough to realise that there is no one in 2016 from your party that people will vote for. Kambwili? Kabimba? Nsanda? Mulenga? Do you actually see people dropping a vote for these clowns?
I don’t see how UPND can fail to form next govt. Sata and his PF are finished and no one in their right mind would ever vote for them, MMD and other smaller parties aren’t factors anymore. The govt is as good as delivered to UPND already. They can’t afford to ****cup a golden opportunity like this one.
keep on dreaming you think by getting votes from monze, magoye ,shantumbo, you can win .
Interesting comments, PF moved from 3% in 2001 to about 29 in 2006, so there’s nothing impossible in Zambia politics
The reason PF moved from 3% in 2001 to 29% in 2006 is because it was not a tribal party.
HH and UPND will never be in power due to regionalism politics and the current attacks on the health of the sitting President. I really believe that getting older is a gift, hence our President need to be celebrated and supported for his age. Mr. Lungu is a Tumbuka from Eastern Province who once served as a Member of Central Committee for UNIP, he has more experience than HH.
You, what manner of argument is this. PF was moving forward. The point here is UPND is moving backwards, though its internet debate rating has been improving. Of course there is a possibility it can start moving upwards!
But What about what Kabimba said over Pf being the most tribal party in Zambia. Besides Kabimba is more informed about pf than anyone else.
At first I was thinking at the rate PF is going they will loose 2016 but these clowns we have for opposition are making it so apparent what will happen in 2016…
PF will continue. HH was asked to be Satas’ vice, akana. Mwaona manje alota state house. The chap would be acting president now. Its a pity that though knowing a lot of charming Tongas, they just have unsubstantiated hate/ fear of Bembas.
It is actually the opposite. Mmd was in power for a looooong time but the adrenalline to bounce back keeps rising.. You had enough of the power.
Under5 has a pride problem. He will never be president of Zambia. Never ever entrust a Tonga with such a responsibility.
No one should be judged by tribe but by character.
There goes another racist from Congo; full of tribal hatred.
Those in the political game should desparately hanker for leadership. That is what made Sata win. The man was so power hungry that he did nothing but lie to a gullible populace and he got their!
So Muhabi, Never, HH, Mulongoti….get even more hungry for plot 1. Dont be shy and pretend you dont want plot 1….ha ha ha. Me, I dont want that is why am not in politics
@13 Tribal hatred, tribalist, this is not Rwanda. Dont think you are superior over other tribes. Please desist from such abominable postings. This site must be for real thinkers not you bent on tribal issues
True. The kind of phobia being depicted towards Bembas makes it imperative to ENSURE that Tongas never grab power. Their collective hate as shown towards Sata and PF completely makes them unsuitable for NATIONAL leadership. Don’t underrate the capacity of Bembas to block foolishness from any quarters
Mr Lungu, the political landscape has changed dramatically. In 1996 MMD got 72%. The next election saw a new party, UPND getting 26.76% against 28.69% for MMD (highly disputed). One could not use the 1996 to project the outcome of 2001 because at that time, the political landscape had changed. But when you look 2006, 2008 and 2011 elections, people were fed up with MMD and PF was the party that showed signs of dislodging the ruling party. With a bit of rigging here and there MMD held on but could not do so in 2011. After 2011, you can’t use the previous pattern of results to predict outcome of 2016 because we have “lost” one key player, i.e MMD. You don’t expect MMD to emerge victorious or come 2nd. The landscape has changed dramatically and signs are pointing to a two horse race,…
and that two horse race is between UPND and PF.
UPND is the third most popular party in the country at the moment and that is why they have a narrow support base of about 18%. People must realize that UPND is not as popular as it is in southern province when you go to other provinces such as those mentioned by Mr.Muhabi Lungu. The actual recent popularity of UPND in these provinces is 3% in muchinga & northern,3% eastern, 3% copperbelt and 0% luapula.
So you actually believe that Bembas in the North would rather vote for HH than Mumba? Do you even know what percentage the Bemba speaking vote is? You are seriously deluded. The rise of PF to win was clear from 2006 and they won after INCREASING in 3 consecutive elections. You don’t decline in 3 elections and then expect to win. That’s just dumb.
The northern block is a PF stronghold and that’s a fact, I don’t see why they will change the voting pattern and give MMD massive votes. I just don’t see where MMD will get votes from, may be Eastern Province. MMD may have national character but you need to have a stronghold and win 2 or 3 provinces
MCS is not contesting in 2016. There is no one who can succeed him. When the reality sinks in, PF supporters will return to MMD because Mumba is a lesser evil to them than Hichilema who they hate with a passion. As Lungu explained, MMD was only 6% behind PF. It takes just a little loss of support for MMD to overtake PF. But UPND need a huge shift in voting patterns in the North and Lusaka/CB which is impossible.
These so called opposition parties are always attacking each other, we might blame PF for the leadership crisis we are experiencing but I think these so called opposition leaders with their greediness and hunger for power are also partly to blame. They’ll continue attacking each other and come 2016 we will still have the same ffooolls in government. Humble yourselves and work together and find a common ground for the sake of all Zambians.
The reason the opposition MMD and UPND are tearing each other apart is because UPND wants to cannibalise MMD and one can argue that they they have every right to do so if they have an opportunity. But then they should not expect the MMD not to fight back. If Hakainde loses the 2016 election he will be finished. However if MMD survives the 2016 vote, it will have overcome its greatest obstacle and can start repositioning itself for 2021. That is why it so vital for them to ensure the Party is not destroyed by UPND pretending to be an ally. A party with such a great contribution to Zambia such as the MMD should be able to design a long term strategy which should contain the assumption that they may not win 2016 but use the election to reposition themselves for the future.
….the UPND (or HH) failed to even get 5 percent of the vote in four out of the nine province in 2011 namely Copperbelt, Eastern, Luapula and Northern Provinces.
Who won in these provinces? What is the dominant tribes (language of these provinces)? What percentage of Southern Votes went to RB and Sata?
What are the tribal dynamcs at play?
I hear you. Somebody please answer that lucidly
MMD you did not listen to the public for 20 years and now you think the fortunes of MMD have changed over night for the better. Dream on.
JUST WAIT FOR YOUR VOTE MASSIVE VOTE SPLITTING FROM YOUR REGIONAL TOP TWO (PF-MMD SILENT PACT) PLUS NAREP PLUS FATHER BWALYA PLUS PULE
AGAINST SOME ONE UPND.
SOMETIMES I WONDER WHAT MY BROTHER IS CARRYING IN HIS HEAD. 1996 THE BOY WAS BEASY SUPPORTING UNIP WHEN EVEN GRADE 2 CHILDREN KNEW THAT UNIP IS DEAD.TODAY AGAIN THE SAME BOY ON TOP OF A DEAD HORSE BEASY SAYING ITS THE FASTEST MUHABI
An early fight between MMD and UPND is a heavy one. They have been undermining each for a long time and it is time they fought so people can see who is more popular. Lets wait and see the next set of by-election including Mangango that was held by MMD and see who wins the majority. Then people should join whoever will win the most seats to avoid vote split. But mark my words, UPND will be the official largest opposition party soon with more opposition MPs in Parley after surpassing MMD>
A party cannot base its popularity on the basis of performance in bye elections and this is the point parties such as UPND don’t seem to understand. Only a handful of voters participate in bye elections and so this does not represent the wishes of the majority of the electorates. This happened to UPND prior to 2011 elections when they won bye elections in Chilanga, Mufumbwe and Solwezi-Central only to lose all the 3 constituencies when a national election was conducted.
Bye elections have always been indicators of popularity of political parties and this is not about to change..
…….. UPND always claim that the political landscape has changed towards them, ah, ah ah
Its not claiming bwana that’s the truth.Read the writings on the wall. The indicators are very clear.MMD has no capacity its out of fashion it was there for 20yrs and its fortunies have been declining.PF = sata and sata is not standing in 2016.PF will safer the problem UPND had after MAZOKA”S death. Now UPND will benefit from all this as it is stronger now with its leader HH who has been tested before in three presidential election .He knows what batton to touch to win.Rabish these defections that’s what happened with PF when Mulongoti and the mpombos joined. Those with money and no politics are joing UPND as shadow MPs and ministers. This results in more MPs and Hence more votes for HH.
One wonders what difference there is between Muhabi and Dora Siliya. At least Dora realises that MMD is not worth dying for.
@ THE CHOSEN ONE,
Don’t write off MMD, in the recent by election in Mansa, UPND came 4th, even FDD performed better than UPND
YA of course that’s atribal strong hold bembas would rather vote for a frog than if it stands on PF ticket
Luapula is a PF stronghold and this is not bound to change any time soon. Right now you and me can struggle to pick a province which is an MMD stronghold. To win an election in Zambia you need to win three or four provinces and emerge 2nd in other provinces. In its current shape MMD can not garner enough votes to even emerge 2nd. That’s not Dr Mumba’s fault, it was expected after being in power for so many years
Chosen One, is your grey matter okay? So according to you UPND will be able to win 3 provinces (Western, Southern, Northwestern) and come second where? Luapula? Northern? Copperbelt? Eastern? Central? You are very dull if you think UPND can come second in Copperbelt or Luapula.
Vaat Daar Fook
You claim to be of sober mind and very intelligent but you are debating with emotions. On blogs like this, you don’t expect people to agree with your line of thought and you don’t counter those with divergent views with insults and demeaning words.
Mr Chosen One, I seem to have little patience when people make statements that make no sense. I am sure you would react the same if I said Mike Mulongoti or Winter Kabimba is the next president in 2016. By the way, you might want to answer my points instead of focussing on my “demeaning words”.
Mr Lungu you are now behaving like a typical vulture, feasting on dead parties. Move on bro, MMD is dead, it’s beyond redemption. Attacking UPND will not change your political fortune. The more you attack UPND the more people will regard you as a PF surrogate party, like NAREP.
MMD is not dead if anything it is UPND with 18% popularity which can be considered dead. UPND has no national appeal and falsely gauges its popularity on the strength of results from bye elections like was the case before 2011 when it won Chilanga, Solwezi Central and Mufumbwe but ended up losing all these 3 constituencies when a national election was held.
Lady, I concur, looks like MMD strategy is to Scupper UPND, with no gain for themselves as they recognise they are trending poorly. No. 1 M&S is correct, the opposition parties might be better off uniting in blocks to fight the next election. Currently PF is sitting pretty as they have powerfully turned around their silence on the president to their benefit, without trying too hard! The opposition parties are killing themselves, rather too loudly! THERE IS NOTHING Muhabi has said that gives an indication of their Mandate. What do they propose to do if they win? Or is the reporting missing their proposed
Mandate? NONPARTISAN
UPND WILL NEVER RULE ZAMBIA AND HH KNOWS THAT
ITS LIKE SAYING GUY SCOT WILL NEVER RULE ZAMBIA BECAUSE OF THE PARENTAGE CLAUSE AND YET HE IS EFFECTIVELY OUR PRESIDENT.
ARE YOU GOD?
If MMD will slide by more than 20% in 2016, then it will be possible for any party to gain more than 20% in 2016.
The entire press conference dedicated to HH. Aren’t the MMD supposed to be prioritising and addressing the internal wrangles.
UPND cadres’ show of utter gullibility is shocking. prior to 2011 general elections they were busy claiming popularity to the extent of surpassing that of the PF then. winning of Chilanga and one more seat elsewhere coupled with PF’s lose of rebel MPs had convinced these political novices that the political pendulum had swung in their favour – they were taught a political lesson. look at all the local & parliamentary by-election results from Oct 2011 to date to learn that PF has gained more votes than any other political party even before the full implementation of their developmental programme. even where PF has lost elections its either by a small margin or is still an improvement on their 2011 postings. Anyway u ar in the learning process u will appreciate political dynamics as…
You guys will make the loud-mouthed good-for-nothing UP and DOWN Cadres die of ichikonko pa mukoshi. You have really cut them to size. Am sure they must be retreating to their favoured Zambian Watchdog site that censors views that are anti-UPND and HH.
This is funny wasn’t sata once very power hungry?
People who deceive themselves say power hungry. Those in the know call it tenacity!
Ati HH can’t win which country do you live in? It will be a tsunami in 2016. Write him of at your own peril! PF nainyelawila! Namashinsha yale nunka!
It is true HH will not win in 2016 and he said himself that no opposition party on its own can win a national election .Come 2016 UPND’s vote count will remain static the moment votes from southern province are tallied.
@Peter Chola,
You are absolutely right, let UPND bloggers like JAY JAY, read yourposting
Muhabi tell us what MMD will do for Zambia and not how hungry UPND is for power. We do not need politicians who are not hungry for power since that will leave us in PF hands. avoid attacking other opposition parties.
It is extremely sad to note that 50 years of independence has produced serious tribalists, with the audacity of even claiming a Tonga cannot be president. I am not here to eulogise Tonga for their business, intellectual and political acumen but merely condemn in strongest of terms such people who would make such disrespectful comments against fellow Zambians who constituent a huge national portion. If the Tonga and Tonga speaking people have wronged anyone, that is not a licence for ridicule. South Africans and American whites made similar abhorring declarations but God always loves drama!
The North hates the South, Shona style against the Ndebele and Hutuish behavior towards Kagame’s Tutsi. That is the fact. That is why they see nothing amiss and can boast that come 2016, HH will get close to zero percent in Luapula, Muchinga and Northern Provinces. And in the same breath, they will shout that Tongas are tribalists and regionalists!
I am disillusioned, if I were HH I wouldnt waste my time in North with its deeply tribalistic hegemony. This group feels a Tonga cannot ‘rule” them!
The North has ruined the economy. One day the rest of the tribes, will gather courage and join the Tongas to fight this monster of tribalism, corruption, theft and plunder.
Has anyone been to Chirundu of late?. We used to cross the Kafue river to Chiawa , there is now a brandy new bridge with a tarred road all the way!. I feel , despite people saying Sata is uneducated and doesn’t think, he is much better than the educated elite who claim they can finnish hunger in Zambia at once even with the current bad state of roads. I even wonder how they will develop the economy if there is no infrastructure coz Zambia is not Lusaka and Copperbelt only, goods and services have to reach all corners of the Country if we have to develop our economy. On the roads and bridges, I give Sata a 100% thinking right support , he is surely a better thinker!
Please you found this bridge been built. You also found the Mongu-Kalabo causeway under construction. You used to laugh at RB when he was commissioning these projects with your Sata mocking RB that ‘people don’t eat roads or people don’t eat inflation or GDP’ These were very stup.i.d statements.
@Hardbull this is exactly my point but you see some of these bloggers or whatever they call themselves, the likes of 142, ndobo, nostradamus and the rest of these foreign based ZWD exiles are beyond convincing and have it set in their minds that PF is the enemy, they have no grounds for this apart from personal hatred and greed in the hope that they will somehow personally benefit if their second uncle or their 3rd cousin becomes deputy Minister of Community affairs under a rabid hyena regime.
Muhabi, your gun is targeted at the wrong person. UPND is not your enemy. You and Nevers are obsessed with UPND. Why are you campaigning for UPND? Where did you learn your politics? You have enough material on PF that you do not need UPND. If you dont know UPND are in this to rule Zambia and be in State house. What about you? From your talk, its clear you are getting the heat of the UPND. My appeal to the MMD NEC, please cage your SG and President. They are leading you the wrong way. And for your information Muhabi, I am not even UPND.
summer kabimba my bottom is itchy. wipe it for me please
THE FREEMASON MAKING NOISE WILL THE MAN OF GOD INTERCIDING FOR THE CHRISTIAN NATION.THE MAN OF GOD AT WORK…….
As usual, dull cadres cannot even address Muhabi’s arguments. They resort to calling him names and wish things went their way. No wonder Chi Sata won the elections in 2011. With dull people like that voting, what do you expect?
The MMD seem to have a big problem of lack of judgment and dishonesty. I can`t believe that a person of Muhabi Lungu`s caliber can issue such a crap statement . Lungu should not emulate Nevers Mumba. Mumba is talkative but not smart.
What is bizarre about the MMD is that the nation has been waiting since 2011 for statement the MMD leaders, on how they are transforming the Party. What aspects of the MMD culture has changed? Is there anything new about their manifesto? But they spend time complaining about how MMD members are joining the UPND. In its present state, I doubt if the MMD will have even 10 MPs in 2016.
All this start after your Halenya Haleshinda said no right thinking person ‘ll still remain in MMD when he was welcoming some new members from MMD.So Muhabi and Nevers are not normal, they are abnormal!Ha ha ha ha…..
This debate is very healthy and that is how we bloggers should debate. Vilifie and UPND not target are misguided. They are not needed on social media because they simply dismiss everything and say MMD is dead. No it is not and UPND knows that MMD is getting more attention.
They wish MMD to die and in their depraved minds that is the only way for them to have achance. Well its not gonna happen and my honest view is that MMD did not lose the 2011 election because Luapula and Northern is where thePF and their Kenyans concetrated on to rig the election. They declared these areas as no go areas for MMD and most MMD electionagents fled. Well the MMD is definetely rising again and Muhabi may have missed it previously but his principles will one day pay back and isa great asset for Nevers
