chilumba: Power close to league win

Coach Tenant Chilumba says Power Dynamos deserve to be on top of the FAZ Super League.

Power opened a two-point lead at the summit of the table after beating Red Arrows 2-1 on Sunday to amass 46 points.

Chilumba said Power have worked hard to be at the top of the table with seven games remaining before the season closes.

He is hopeful that Power will maintain their stay at the pinnacle of the Super League.

“I think the boys have been working hard and we deserve to be there at the top,” Chilumba said.

He added:”Seven more games I can only say we will keep on working hard. We have to concentrate for us to remain on top.”

The Arthur Davies side has so far registered 12 wins, 10 draws and one loss.

“We have been encouraging the boys that we are almost there and we should continue getting maximum points.”
