I agree with Villifier. LT must be looking at the ‘quantity’ by assessing frequency instead of ‘quality’ of the posts. However, posts by Nostradamus and Ndobo are quiet qualitative.

The word “Best” in writing/comments is the person who comes out as most convincing and intelligent. In this case the award would be contested by people like Eustace Wabo, MMD Bootliker, Godfrey Miyanda, A Phiri Anabwera–these are among the best “bloggers.” The most annoying and/or irritating are Mushota, Saulosi, and Wanzelu. The most dumb is Ndobo and the most shallow and *****ic is Nostradamus. If you reward them in the given categories, it makes a lot of sense. Otherwise what you should have said is “Blogger with the most comments of 2014…no matter how silly. If what the bloggers have said about Nostradamus is true then he is disqualified on moral grounds.

We really need to address the misuse of the word Blogger. I know it’s taken a new meaning in Zambia but the actual meaning of a Blogger is one who writes and manages their own Web log or Blog. In other words they have their own website to which they make posts usually on a particular theme.
What happens on LT is just that people make comments. So for lack of a better word you could call them Commenters or Posters as someone has already said. The term Blogger gives to much weight and credit to an exchange of comments and opinions that people are making on LT.
