FORUM for Democracy and Development (FDD) President Edith Nawakwi has urged people to vote for her as she would not make any broken promises.
Ms Nawakwi said for the past fifty years Zambian people had been forced to live by broken promises by previous Governments.
She was speaking during the launch of the parties Campaigns on the Copperbelt at the Changanamai grounds in Kitwe yesterday.
Ms Nawakwi said she would not make any promises to the Zambian people but pledged to work hand in hand with Zambian people to bring development to the country.
She said time had come for people in the country to have their dignity restored by voting for her as she would work with them in creating employment and development.
“I am here to ask you all to vote for me so that we can work together in bringing development to each and every district in the country,” Ms Nawakwi said.
She said the country had enough resources to carter for each and everyone and achieve a poverty free nation.

Normal reasoning Zambians should realize that PF has always been & will always be a party of tribalism, nepotism, rascalism, violence, lumpens, scums, thieves, lawlessness, retrogression, & economic prostitution. As clearly evident from the recent happenings, this is a party that can not even uphold its own constitution. Contrary to normal expectations, the party instead promotes & condones violence & lumpenism. Surely, how can you entrust a pack of jackals like PF to rule & run the affairs of mother Zambia. Hopefully, Zambians will vote sensibly come Jan 20 2015 & salvage Zambia from these rascals and jackals!

FDD did well and they should be proud of themselves no matter what the outcome of the elections. These are good crowds very comparable to those of PF in Kitwe. They may even have had more people. I know Nawakwi is a better public speaker than Lungu. Good job FDD. Now go to Luapula and Northern and compete with Lungu there. You have a good chance since you are Namwanga. Zambians lets face it, we have become extremely polarized along tribal lines. It does not make sense to remain a united country anymore. I think lets just split into eight or 10 parts and see who can develop faster.
My friend, how can Zambians reason? The truth is that most Zambian’s behaviour is like that of PF, thats the reason Zambians vote for the PF. And I won’t be surprised if Edgar Lungu wins next elections. Zambians are used to suffering and would rather vote for mediocrity.

I am not a member of any one political party but describing PF this way is uncalled for. We must understand that the PF has no bonafide members at the lower levels as such. Groups of disgruntled youths can act as PF this hour and UPND the next. If the description given here were true, such a party would not have brought in so much development in such a short time. May be they are not schooled in certain areas of conduct, but let us give them this: they can deliver a development punch.

We can also argue that any credible agreement is usually put in writing. You can refer to it later on as a reminder to have it fulfilled. Words and promises that just bubbles forth from a mind that is just moved by what it sees its audience excited about can not be substantiated. A mind can make up anything and promise anything for the moment. Girls knows that a guy full of promises is a fake.

Too much shallow thinking by some bloggers. If you look at UPND you will see that 90% of their MPs are from Southern province. The other 10% are from Western and North Western provinces. So If HH were to win he would draw his cabinet from that list which would make it predominantly Tonga. Even the 8 nominated MP would not tip the scale. Apart from MPs, the other people who have benefited from PF being in power are Sata’s friends and family. So those who have been demonising all Bembas are just silly.
