Nkana sell duo to Power Dynamos

Nkana have sold midfielder Claude Bwalya and defender Masauso Zimba to Power Dynamos

The duo have moved to Power on long-term transfers.

“We have released Claude and Masauso to Power Dynamos on permanent moves,” Nkana secretary Ken Mwansa said.

Bwalya has surprisingly left Nkana less than a year after joining the 2013 champions from Konkola Blades.

Meanwhile, there is also talk that Nkana number two goalkeeper Charles Mweemba could follow the duo to Power where he will face strong competition from Joshua Titima and Joel Kanyeba.

“Charles is also on Power Dynamos’ shopping list but that is subject to confirmation by Thursday,” Mwansa said.

Power are reinforcing their team ahead of the February kick off in the 2014 CAF Confederation Cup.

  1. Lack of Domestic Leadership Education

Africa is not poor, Africa has a leadership problem. For any society to prosper it should have a endogenous system of identifying, training and coaching its future leaders. Some countries do it through their military services, some do it through elite schools, and some others do it through informal coaching and assistance organizations or secret societies.

  2. Lack of International Intelligence network

Africa knowledge of the world is very limited. I’d agree that most of my fellow Africans have very little idea of the world they are living in, specially the forces and trends that are shaping it.

  3. I welcome the idea of bringing Charles Mweemba to Power Dynamos. Clearly, Joshua Titima needs serious competition. As a Power Dynamos fan, we cannot afford erratic goalkeeping especially that we are targeting the league championship as well as the confederations cup next year.

  4. KEN MWANSA & hrs term in management there are fools. How can their sell Zimba, Bwalya & Mweemba (3) of them @ a time unless if their tell us those who have remained in those numbers Chishimba, Sitali & Muchele’nanga their will play wthout problems of thinking of replacing them in all matchs of next season.
Their should have gone loans not on sell.
If their think what they have done is right for the club then its fine.
But a term where they have gone nali lipata!

    • Tumelo what language are you using? I thought I knew English but this has made me think twice.

    • Can’t even spell ‘team’sure! I thought at the begining he/she was going to write about Ken overstaying in the position of Secretary; that his term was too long!
