Chambeshi hails Zambia final 23 squad

Nkana trainer Beston Chambeshi says the 23-man final Chipolopolo squad coach Honour Janza has picked for the 2015 Africa Cup is the best Zambia can assemble.

Ten of the 23 players Janza selected among them Nkana star striker Ronald Kampamba will be making the debuts at the biggest football competition in Africa.

“I think that is the best team we have as at now going by the coach’s selection. I hope the boys we will give us a good game at the Africa Cup,” Chambeshi said.

He hailed the inclusion of his players Kampamba and midfielder Donashano Malama in the AFCON bound team.

“It is nice for the team (Nkana) and nice for the boys. We are happy for our contribution to the national team,” he said.

Chambeshi wished Chipolopolo luck as they compete in Equatorial Guinea.

” All the best to my players and the entire national team,”Chambeshi said.

  1. Have serious problems with the defence. U can not take a team with only one reliable Defender (Sunzu).

  4. I support earlier comment that said that we need more defensive cover, esp in the center, I’d have preferred that we carry along Aaron Katebe instead & left out either Mukuka Mulenga (match fitness), Bruce Musakanya (lack of impact) or Spencer Sautu (inexperience)…
