Zesco United head to Swaziland

Zesco United on Wednesday afternoon travels to Swaziland to face Mbabane Swallows in Sunday’s 2015 CAF Champions League preliminary round, first leg match away in Manzini.

George Lwandamina’s side departs from Ndola’s Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport at midday.

The FAZ Super League champions have just concluded their preparations that saw them travel to Mongu, South Africa and DR Congo.

“We are leaving Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport around 12h00 on Wednesday,” Zesco media officer Katebe Chengo said.

Zesco are returning to the Champions League after a three-year absence.

The Ndola club last year competed in the CAF Confederation Cup but tumbled in the second round after enjoying a preliminary round bye.
