Sate-Sate jets in for 2015 All-Africa Games qualifier trip

Share

Egypt-based striker Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba has joined the Zambia Under-23 camp ahead of their 2015 All-Africa Games qualifying match against Nigeria this weekend.

Fighton Simukonda’s Under-23 team will face Nigeria in a final round, first leg match away in Abuja.

Kampamba arrived on Monday from his Cairo club Wadi Degla and joined the team in training on Tuesday in Lusaka.

““Sate’s arrival has boosted the morale in camp.” Simukonda said.

However, Simukonda will be without Red Arrows winger Bruce Musakanya due to a hamstring injury while Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder Mukuka Mulenga availability for the qualifier is still uncertain.

“We are yet to hear from him (Mukuka),” Simukonda said.

“Otherwise if we don’t hear from him by the end of the day, then he is out of the team.”

Nigeria will host Zambia on March 21 in Abuja while the return leg is scheduled for April 11.

Winner over both legs will qualify to the All-Africa Games to be hosted by Congo-Brazzaville from September 4-19.

  1. what is wrong with charles musonda’s children? lets just bring ourselves down and bring these boys. They can make a difference

    • They are not Zambian, they were born in Belgium so will represent Belgium. Besides why would they want to play for Zambia, the most disorganised national side.

    • Chipolopolodiehard.com, they always write about players abroad, some in America, far-east like Malaysia, Botswana… I bet they will be more confident than most of these Zambians.
INFERIOR complex is the highest outbreak disease in Zambia. Zambia won that Africa cup becuase of the charismatic Renard, and Zambia lost lamentably in last AFCON becuase of the low-self esteem coach Janza, who could be better than that Simukonda.

  2. Its bcoz kalu has 2 girls charles has 2 boys,so kalu is jelous of his friends children & u kno they don’t go along

  3. Last week, I was watching under 21 Chelsea vs Liverpool. Charles musonda’s son was in the team for Chelsea. The boy is bad news. Why! up to this time, the boys are not playing for Zambia. Who is the problem?

  4. Kalu should humble himself and engage Charles Musonda who can easily assist most of our players to get into Europe. Belgium is not a push over when it comes to European football.

  5. Problem is not Kalu or Faz over the inclusion of Charles Musonda’s sons. Its our constitution which does not permit duel citizenship

  6. …The finals will be held in Senegal. Congo wants to prepare for elections in 2016!

    Edgar should step down!!!
