PF sounds early call to Zambians

Share

The mobilisation committee of the Patriotic Front (PF) has sounded an early call on Zambians to re-elect President Edgar Lungu in next year’s tripartite elections.

PF Mobilization Committee Vice Chairman Nigel Mpakateni said this is because the party in government and its leadership have proved that they were determined to socially and economically develop the country.

Mr. Mpakateni said Zambia has experienced massive development since the year 2011 when the PF took over power. He has since urged all well-meaning Zambians to support the PF and freely join the ruling party especially that everyone was eager to see development in the country.

He said this yesterday in Chongwe district when he welcomed 147 defectors from the opposition United Party for National Development (UPND), Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD), Rainbow Party and the National Restoration Party (NAREP).

Mr. Mpakateni said the ruling party has already started the mobilisation strategy ahead of the 2016 tripartite elections because it was aiming at recruiting more members into the working government.

He stated that Zambians have seen that the ruling party was delivering according to the promises which it made prior to the 2011 elections.

And Lusaka Province PF Chairman Olance Longwe said President Edgar Lungu deserves another term of office so that he can accomplish all the developmental programmes going on around the country.

Mr. Longwe said President Lungu was strictly following the 2011 PF manifesto in implementing all the developmental programmes.

He has also urged all genuine PF members to embark on a serious recruitment drive in order to attract a lot of members to the ruling party.

    • Delivered what ? if they are not borrowing they are stealing….

$25 million airport manee theft ?, $113 million oil over charge theft ?,
$12 million put aside for boreholes in western province when only a fraction of that is needed ? just the other day Mulega sata selling off reserved council land in lusaka.

    • Please Mpakateni, explain to us your concept of “PF has socially and economically developed the country”

The average Zambian is unemployed and lives below the poverty line. Go mu ma komboni and see for yourself. The money in people’s pockets you promised was never seen.

You just want our vote so that you and your Jamasoni paymaster with his minions can keep enriching yourselves.

  1. Too many corruption scandals under PF, so much stealing that they dont bother refute the allegations.

  2. Stop telling lies. Who would defect from Rainbow Party this soon? Unless they didn’t know what they wanted in the first place. pf MINIONS.

  3. PF HAS TAKEN ALOT FROM NW PROVINCE AND LIVING IT IN RUINS. PRESIDENT CAME TO OFFICIATE THE ROAD WHICH SATA LEFT THREE CONSTRUCTORS ON SITE OF CHINGOLA SOLWEZI ROAD. I DONT SEE HOW PEOPLE ARE VIEWING LUNGU UNTIL 2016.

    PEOPLE ARE NOT ANIMALS.

  4. I don’t know even why people waste their time and effort voting for all these zambian politicians who just care for their stomachs and their pockets.

  5. Lets be very factual and considerate in the way we debate issues concerning this great nation. PF took over from MMD who ruled us for 20 years. NW Province was a MMD strong hold and still is MMD/UPND strong hold. What did MMD do for NWP then, absolutely nothing as regards infrastructure development, I am sure you’ll all agree with me. PF was formed in 2001 after Michael Sata (MHSRIP) left MMD and assended to power in 2011 10 years later. During PF tenure we all have seen a lot of infrastructure and I must admit that they’re some corrupt elements within the party just like there are corrupt elements within MMD, UPND, NAREP, Rainbow Party, etc but we should call a spade a spade and congraturate this party of the great things they have done in under 5 years.
