Brave Nchanga hold Sundowns

Brave Nchanga Rangers on Thursday afternoon drew with six-time South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

The draw was Sundowns first from their three-match series after beating Mufulira Wanderers and Zesco united by similar 1-0 wins on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

Nchanga took a 1-0 lead into the break against a Sundowns side that had played two games in 48 hours heading into their final pre-season friendly during their five day training camp of Zambia.

Fashion Sakala put Nchanga ahead in the 30th minute off an Austin Banda cross.

Sundowns equalised in the 90th minute through ex-Bafana Bafana captain Teko Modise who pounced on the ball after it was split by Jairos Mulenga.
