Muziyo ends Zambia’s All-Africa Games boxing drought

Middleweight boxer Ben Muziyo ended Zambia seven-year medal drought in the ring at the All-Africa Games.

Muziyo, who was the last boxer standing from team Zambia in Congo-Brazzaville, lost to Seyl Ntsengue of Cameroon in the semifinals to pick up a Bronze.

He becomes the first Zambian since welterweight Hastings Bwalya won Silver at the 2007 tournament in Algeria.

This is Muziyo’s second medal after picking up a Bronze medal at last years Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
