President Edgar Lungu has retained former PF and republican Vice President Guy Scott to the 56 member new look PF Central Committee.
President Lungu has however retained Dr. Scott who was stripped of the PF vice Presidency at the height of the party succession dispute early this year as an ordinary Central Committee member.

President Lungu has also retained Inonge Wina and Davies Chama as PF vice president and Secretary General respectively.

Notable among those that form part of the new look PF Central Committee is former UPND vice president Richard Kapita who has been appointed chairperson for tourism, arts and culture and Nchanga MP Wilbur Simuusa who has returned as an ordinary MCC.

President Lungu says he expects the new appointees and old members of the Central Committee will rise to the challenge, articulate the party manifesto and prepare the PF for the 2016 general election.

He has further directed all PF Members of Parliament to get back to their respective constituencies as often as possible and to all party grassroots to mobilize people to register as voters, articulate the PF manifesto and explain the ongoing developmental programmes to the nation at large.

  1. YAYAYA.. The games are in full gear now. WINA AZALILA. Before we insult and say all the negative statements sometimes we release without finding the patience to articulate issues well, lets all register as voters. That way we will insure that we contribute to the putting in of our preferred leaders. There can only be one Zambia.
“Intellectuals” lets put off our western English, wear boots and go to the villages to preach the Zambia we need in our local languages, otherwise we will be the only ones voting for our president. Madam Mumbi Phiri was sport.

    • Why always appoint members in a democratic party?
Why not subject to a democratic dispensation i.e. vote?
Why are you always afraid of the vote even at your Kabwe convention it was democracy by raise of hand in a one man contest?

    • Corrected Version! ‘them’ is included in question 2.

  2. Scott been used in last minute later to be dumped after 2016 general elections, these disguised pf founders now are mare members, what’s that late comers like kapita is chairing a sector_tourism nanga ba scott back bencher, watch this space,Lungu allow HH,GBM to mobilise their party freely and receive more pf defectors,as witnessed in Mkushu the president is busy campaigning with no single defector, wapya munzi

    • I agree, Dr Scott is not stupid to campaign for PF after everything they have put him through. He may even resign from PF just in time.

This is totally against the pronouncement the president made during press conference to reduce on Mps travelling until the time of campaigning starts. This is indeed playing with people’s mind fooling us that he has put measures to reduce on expenditure and yet doing the opposite.

    • It is different story Yama naimwe. President was talking about ministers not MPs. Ministers use govt money when they tour, but not MPs. MPs offices are in constituencies. Anyway, that’s the way we learn.

    • imagine,***** asking an impossible thing to happen, people learn that ECL IS THE HEAD of state a president of a kantemba.

  4. Comment:ITS JUST THAT ECL IS SURROUNDED WITH WRONG PIPO SCOT IS ALREADY OPPOSITION WITH SIMUSA OP HAVE NOT INFORMED HIS EXERLLENCE SHAME SIMUSA WANTS TO CHALLENGE ECL 2016 OPENLY WHO DOEST KNOW

  5. President Lungu is thinking of Dr. Guy Scott at the last minute. Knowing the former Vice president, i dont think he can stand the insults he went through. He should just move on and join others after parliament is dissolved next year. People like Inonge wina, Jean Kapata, Kampyongo had the courage to insult Dr. Guy Scott. Dr Scott Campaigned for President Lungu in the previous elections. What benefit did he get ? He was considered to be useless forgetting the sacrifices he made for their party. I would advise him to meet people like Gen. Miyanda and Mwansa Mulenga so that they work together and strategise for next year. Come 2016 PF will be taught a lesson that they have never experienced

  6. you can laugh at some statement, ati let GBM na HH bachite mobilise party free who has stopped them kanshi.they are just a bunch of crooks we should never trust.
